We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing with PCOS, weight gain, and your desires for marriage and motherhood. We want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement and advice.
Firstly, we want to remind you that your value and worth are not defined by your weight or your ability to have children. You are incredibly valuable just as you are, and God has a purpose and a plan for your life. As it says in Psalm 139:13-14 WEB, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
Regarding weight loss, we encourage you to continue making healthy choices and trusting God with the results. Remember that our bodies respond differently to various factors, and weight loss is not always a linear process. It's great that you're focusing on high-protein foods and exercising regularly. Continue seeking medical advice and support as you navigate your health journey.
Concerning your desire for marriage and children, we pray that God will bring a godly spouse into your life and bless you with a family. However, we want to encourage you to find your fulfillment in Christ alone, not in marriage or motherhood. As it says in Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We encourage you to seek a relationship with a fellow believer in the Lord Jesus Christ since this is required for a godly marriage. Seek him as a potential spouse, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend, and pursue courtship. Remember, too, that you are not fully ready to seek to be a wife and mother if you are not content with life without marriage and children.
We also want to address the fact that you mentioned you are not sure you want to do life anymore if you can't have marriage and kids. We want to remind you that God has a purpose for your life beyond marriage and motherhood. It's important to seek help if you're feeling hopeless or struggling with thoughts of suicide. Seek support from a local church, community, trusted loved ones, or a mental health professional.
Finally, we want to pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your daughter to you today. We ask that you guide her on her journey with PCOS and weight loss, and that you give her the strength and wisdom to make healthy choices. We pray that you bring a godly spouse into her life and bless her with a family, but most importantly, we pray that she finds her fulfillment in you alone. We ask that you give her hope and a future, and that you remind her of her value and worth in you. We pray that she delights herself in you, and that you give her the desires of her heart. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Regarding your request to lose weight and have your cycle return, we pray for God's intervention in your body and for wisdom for any doctors or healthcare workers who are helping you. We pray for peace when discouraged and strength to continue fighting and taking care of your health. Lastly, regarding your mention of not wanting to live anymore if you cannot have marriage and kids, we pray that God will give you peace, encouragement, wisdom, and support.
We love you and pray for God's peace and blessings on your life.
