Easily effortlessly, in a healthy way. Flat stomach. On holidays to choose the best activity for weight and shape. To be decisive, perseverant and diligent in Jesus name amen.
I am in an emotionally difficult phase. Father died ### ago, my mother early Alzheimer and depression, diabetes, I don't get along good with my brother and the woman who watches over my mom. No friends. No partner. Lord please make my life better.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you navigate this season of grief, loneliness, and physical struggle. The loss of your father, the challenges with your mother’s health, and the strained relationships in your life are burdens no one should carry alone. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that He hears the cries of His children. You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will bring healing, comfort, and transformation to every area of your life.

First, we want to address the weight of your request with both compassion and truth. Your desire for physical health is not wrong—God calls us to steward our bodies well, for they are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you this change must come through sheer willpower or that your worth is tied to a number on a scale. True transformation begins in the heart, and we pray that the Lord would renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and give you His strength, not your own. The enemy would love for you to believe that this battle is yours alone, but we declare that the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory.

We also lift up your struggle with emotional eating, late-night cravings, and the cycle of frustration that follows. The Bible tells us that our bodies are not our own, but we are to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:20). This means surrendering even our appetites to Him. We pray that the Lord would break the chains of bondage to food in your life and replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). May He give you the discipline to lay down the fork when your heart is heavy, and may He fill the emptiness within you with His perfect peace (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of gluttony and declare that your body will no longer be a slave to unhealthy habits. Instead, may you find joy in nourishing yourself in ways that honor God and bring life to your body.

Your request for a flat stomach and effortless weight loss must be tempered with the truth that God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we pray for your health and for the Lord to guide you in making wise choices, we must also acknowledge that true change often requires effort, perseverance, and trust in God’s timing. We pray that He would give you wisdom in your food choices, strength in your workouts, and discernment to choose activities that align with His will for your health. May He guard you against the "jojo effect" and instead establish lasting habits that reflect His glory. We declare that your body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we pray that you would see yourself through His eyes—not as a project to be fixed, but as a beloved child to be cherished.

We also lift up the deep loneliness and isolation you are experiencing. The loss of your father, the distance from your brother, and the lack of close relationships are wounds that only Jesus can fully heal. We pray that the Lord would surround you with His presence in a tangible way, filling the void in your heart with His love. The Bible tells us that God sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we pray that He would bring godly friendships and community into your life. May He mend the broken relationships with your brother and the caretaker of your mother, or if that is not His will, may He provide new relationships that bring encouragement and support. We rebuke the spirit of isolation and declare that you are never alone—Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20).

Your mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s and depression is a heavy burden, and we pray for God’s mercy and healing over her mind and body. We ask that the Lord would give you patience, compassion, and wisdom as you care for her, and that He would provide the support you need in this season. May He soften the hearts of those around you, including the woman who watches over your mother, so that there may be unity and peace. We declare that God is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we pray for His intervention in her life.

We also want to address the longing in your heart for companionship. It is natural to desire marriage, but we must ensure that this desire aligns with God’s will. We pray that the Lord would prepare you for a godly spouse, should that be His plan for you. May He refine your heart, teach you to love as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), and guard you against the temptation to seek fulfillment in another person rather than in Him. We rebuke any spirit of desperation or impatience and declare that God’s timing is perfect. If He has marriage in your future, we pray that He would bring the right man into your life—a man who loves the Lord above all else and who will cherish you as a gift from God.

Most importantly, we must address the foundation of your faith. Your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and He alone can bring true healing to your heart, mind, and body.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister who is carrying so much. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to her in this season of grief and loneliness. Comfort her as only You can, and remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted. We pray against the spirit of isolation and declare that she is never alone—You are with her always.

Father, we lift up her physical health to You. We ask that You would break the chains of emotional eating and unhealthy habits in her life. Give her the strength to honor You with her body, and renew her mind so that she sees herself through Your eyes. We pray for discipline and self-control, not by her own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit. May she find joy in nourishing her body in ways that bring glory to You.

Lord, we pray for healing in her relationships. Mend the brokenness with her brother and the caretaker of her mother. If it is Your will, bring reconciliation and peace. If not, provide new relationships that will encourage and support her. We pray that You would surround her with godly community and friendships that reflect Your love.

Father, we lift up her mother to You. We ask for Your healing touch over her mind and body. Give our sister the wisdom, patience, and strength she needs to care for her mother in this difficult season. Provide the support and resources she needs, and may Your peace guard her heart.

Lord, we pray for her desire for marriage. If it is Your will, prepare her for a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the church. Guard her heart against impatience and desperation, and may she find her ultimate fulfillment in You. If marriage is not Your plan for her, we pray that You would fill her life with purpose, joy, and deep satisfaction in You alone.

Finally, Lord, we pray that she would come to know You more deeply. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that she would do so today. May she experience the fullness of life that comes only through a relationship with You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, even when the road feels long. The enemy would love for you to believe that your circumstances will never change, but we serve a God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring beauty from the ashes of this season.
