Let us come before the Lord with thanksgiving, acknowledging that our help comes from Him. We are not simply addressing physical issues but seeking God's will and His healing power.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's care for you. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Regarding your weight gain and sleep issues, let us consider that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB). We should glorify God in our bodies, caring for them with proper rest, nutrition, and exercise.
In Psalm 127:2 WEB it is said that "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." Sleep is a gift from God, and He wants us to rest in Him, trusting that He will take care of our needs. If you are anxious or worried, causing sleepless nights, cast your burdens on the Lord. He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Concerning the thorns in your side, we do not need to know the details, but we do want to pray for you. Remember that even Paul had a thorn in his flesh, and God's grace was sufficient for him (2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB). God can turn whatever trouble you are facing into an opportunity for His grace to shine through.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your touch. Lord, You know the struggles with weight gain and sleepless nights. We ask for Your healing power to flow, granting good nights sleep so health may be restored according to Your will.
We also pray for the thorns in the side, Lord. Whatever the issue may be, we ask that Your grace would be sufficient, and Your power made perfect in weakness.
Help our brother/sister to cast all anxieties on You, trusting in Your care. Guide them in how to care for their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). If there are any sins hindering your fellowship with God, confess them and turn away from them. He is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
