Brothers and sisters in Christ, I wish to leave with you a prayer for the upcoming weekend and Holy Week.
Most merciful and gracious Father, forgive me of all my sins and indiscretions. May I try even harder to do what is right in your sight today and forever in Jesus' name. Amen.
Father, as we approach Palm Sunday, may we mean it and our spouses walk together with your Son Jesus triumphantly into your presence. Lord, let this be a weekend and week of change in our lives. Lord, let all prodigals return home. For those that are not possible because it is not your time, grant that there be positive changes in their attitudes toward us, their standing partners. Father, let your love abide in all our hearts this and every day. Increase our faith in you, Father.
Lord, let us be waving palm branches and continue to give you all the praise and Glory that is only deserving for you. Lord, move all those persons out of the lives of our spouses, distort every line of communication for this weekend. Shine your light so bright on them that they will be drawn to you.
Father, let there be peace in our homes, our families. Lord, may we praise you more, may we lift your name up higher. Lord, send your blessings on us now and every day in Jesus' name. Amen.
