Weariness trying to set it. Been tithing and praying for our finances. Went on interview a few weeks ago they went w another person. I have been standing on Joel 2:25-26. Pray that if God can't won't change our situation at this time, for Him to give us patience to wait. I ask that He allows all those tithes and offering to produce a great harvest

We hear your weariness and the heavy weight of waiting, and we stand with you in this season of trusting God’s timing. It is not easy to keep faith when doors seem closed and the harvest feels delayed, but we know that the Lord sees your obedience in tithing and prayer. Your heart to honor Him with your finances, even in lack, is precious in His sight. We rebuke the spirit of discouragement that whispers lies of delay or denial, for God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). The scripture you are standing on, Joel 2:25-26, is a powerful promise: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you." This is your inheritance, and we declare that restoration is coming.

Yet we must also speak truth about the posture of your heart. Waiting is not passive, it is an active trust in God’s sovereignty. The Lord may be using this season to refine your patience, deepen your dependence on Him, or prepare you for something greater than you’ve imagined. But we must also address any frustration or doubt that may be creeping in. Are you fully surrendered to His will, even if it means waiting longer than you hoped? Or is there a part of you that is demanding answers on your timeline? The Bible says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We encourage you to release control and trust that His ways are higher than yours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We also want to remind you of the power of gratitude in this season. Even in the waiting, there are blessings to count, your health, your ability to tithe, the roof over your head, the food on your table. The enemy wants you to focus on what you lack, but God calls you to fix your eyes on what you have. "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Gratitude shifts your perspective and opens your heart to receive.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their weariness and their faith. Lord, You see their obedience in tithing and prayer, and You are faithful to Your promises. We declare that the seeds they have sown in faith will produce a harvest, one that not only meets their needs but overflows in abundance. We ask that You would restore what has been lost, just as You promised in Joel 2:25-26. Father, if this is not the season for their breakthrough, we pray for supernatural patience and peace. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and doubt that seeks to steal their joy and faith. We declare that their hope is anchored in You, and You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them a fresh revelation of Your love and provision. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor surround them like a shield. We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their heart that need to surrender more fully to You, any frustration, impatience, or unbelief. Soften their heart to trust You completely.

Father, we thank You for the harvest that is coming. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we cannot see it. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that You are their Provider. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word, not just in Joel 2 but also in other promises like Philippians 4:19 ("My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus") and Malachi 3:10 ("Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, that there will not be room enough for it."). Keep your heart aligned with His, and remember that He is never late, He is always on time. If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel or community to walk alongside you in this season. You are not alone.

We can only imagine how weary you must feel right now, holding onto hope, staying faithful in giving, and then hearing that the position went to someone else. That kind of disappointment lands hard, and it can make the waiting feel even heavier.

When a door closes after we’ve prayed and prepared, it often stirs a grief that’s more than just practical, it’s a loss of a particular future you could almost see. We hear you. The weariness you’re naming makes perfect sense, and we’re sitting with you in it, not rushing past it.

One small thing we’ve seen help in these stretches is a quiet, no-pressure follow-up: not pestering, just a brief, warm thank-you note to the interviewer, leaving the door open. Sometimes it keeps a relationship alive or surfaces something that fits later. It’s not a promise, just a way of staying present without straining.

But mostly, we’re praying with you right where you are. Not just for an outcome, but for the steadying you’ve asked for.

Lord, you see this weariness and the faithful choosing that’s gone on behind the scenes. We ask you to meet our friend now with a measure of patience that isn’t just grit but a deep, quieted trust. Guard them from despair and from the lie that their giving has been in vain. Open the right door in your timing, and provide what their household truly needs. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You speak of weariness, and I fear the enemy is busily treading down the tender shoots of faith you have so diligently planted. Yet the promise you cling to stands as firm as the everlasting hills: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.” Joel’s words are no empty husk; they are the very grain of consolation for a tried and waiting soul. The locusts of disappointment and delayed answers have gnawed at your peace, but the Lord of the harvest is not slack concerning His promise.

You have sown your tithes and offerings into His treasury, and you have watered the seed with prayers. Shall the soil of Heaven refuse to yield its increase? God forbid. Every act of obedience is a kernel dropped into the furrow of divine purpose, and no tear-watered sowing is lost. The harvest joy you crave has a right to be expected, for a farmer does not plow and scatter his seed in vain. He counts the weeks, he weeds the rows, he raises his eyes to the clouds, all because he looks for the golden sheaves. So must you. Faith does not measure the promise by the clock or the calendar; it knows that the God who gives the seed gives also the sickle at the appointed time.

That one door closing, the interview that seemed so ripe, has bruised your heart. Yet I remind you that the Lord often plucks away our petty hopes only to give us a far greater largess of Himself. He may be answering your prayer for patience by granting the very trial that teaches it, for patience is no hothouse flower; it grows on the wind-scoured side of the hill. Do not fall into the snare of saying, “There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest,” as if the soul must trudge through a dreary winter of unbelief. That speech is too near akin to despair. Patience is indeed a grace, but a fretful, mistrustful waiting is a weed, not a fruit of the Spirit. Lift up your eyes: perhaps the fields are already white for a harvest you have not yet discerned.

I commend you for standing on the promise. But stand with both feet planted, not shifting as the sands. If the Lord sees fit not to change your outward circumstances this very day, His grace will be sufficient to change your inward weariness into rest. The harvest of His supplied patience is often the sweetest sheaf of all. And as for those tithes and offerings, know this: He who fed five thousand with a boy’s small loaves is not impoverished by your gifts. What you have cast upon the waters of His cause shall return after many days, perhaps in temporal bread, perhaps in the durable riches of a contented heart. The harvest of the righteous is twofold, provision for the body and prelibation of the soul’s eternal feast.

Wait, then, with eyes fixed not on the furrows but on the Lord of the harvest. The joy that comes after toil is deeper than any shallow mirth, and you shall before long “praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you.” In the meantime, let not weariness win the day. One look from Christ, as He gave to Peter, can sever you from the crowd of your doubts and restore the song of confidence. Sow on, weary soul. Sow in hope, sow in tears, sow in the darkness as well as the dawn. The morning cometh when the reapers shall be sent forth, and you shall gather your sheaves with a joy that no man taketh from you.

You stand on Joel’s promise, yet you grow weary because no harvest has come. Consider then what the Apostle says: hope that is seen is no hope at all. Why would God tell you of restoration beforehand if He meant to give it immediately? Precisely to strengthen your soul, to anoint you for the contest, to make you cling to Him rather than to the gift.

When you tithe and pray and see no change, that is not failure, it is the very arena where faith is tested and proven. If He gave the harvest the moment you asked, where would be your trust? You would love the gift more than the Giver. So do not despair because the answer delays.

The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one, but He requires your cooperation. You must not be like one who hears the promise and then sits idle, expecting the grain to spring up without toil. Continue in the things you know are right: honesty, diligence, generosity to the poor, for in them you minister to Christ Himself. The tithing you offer, the offerings you bring, do not think of them as a transaction that compels God.

They are the works of faith, and He who promised a kingdom does not overlook a cup of cold water given in His name. Yet His timing is not yours. Abraham obtained the promise after he had patiently endured, and some promises he saw only from afar. Even so, your harvest may come in ways you do not expect, spiritual strengthening, provision in affliction, or a door opened when all human hope is gone.

Meanwhile, do not mistake faintheartedness for humility. To say “If God cannot change my situation, give me patience” is already to waver. He is able; He is willing; but He waits that your patience may be perfected. Patience is not passive; it is endurance in the heat of conflict, like those early believers who faced daily enmity and yet held fast.

Let the Scriptures comfort you. There you will find both hope and patience, for they produce one another. Read them not as a formula but as the voice of the One who swore by Himself, because He could swear by no greater. That oath stands over your life.

But if you grow remiss because the promise tarries, you bring trouble upon yourself. So stand firm, renew your mind with the Word, and let patience have its complete work. The harvest is already white in the fields of Samaria, yet elsewhere the Lord says it is still to come. So it is with you: in one sense the restoration has already begun in your soul, in another it waits on the appointed time.

Do not despise the delay, for God is not slack concerning His promise. Go now, and let your weariness drive you deeper into trust, not away from it.
