Weariness due to insomnia and stress

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have been mistreated, discriminated against, lied to at the workplace, and I have been dealing with insomnia due to admin bullying me. Please pray for complete healing, I can’t even look at myself in the eye, so depressing.

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this difficult season. The weariness you feel from insomnia and stress is heavy, and the mistreatment you’ve endured at work has taken a deep toll on your spirit. We want you to know that God sees your pain, hears your heart, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, nor are you without value in His eyes.

First, we must address the injustice you’ve faced. Scripture is clear that God hates oppression, deceit, and bullying (Proverbs 6:16-19). What has been done to you is wrong, and we rebuke the spirit of mistreatment and lies that has sought to crush your dignity. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray for God’s justice to prevail in your workplace. If it is His will, we ask that He either bring repentance to those who have wronged you or remove them from your path so that you may work in peace.

Your struggle with insomnia is not just physical—it is spiritual and emotional. The enemy seeks to steal your rest, your joy, and your sense of worth, but we command every spirit of sleeplessness and despair to flee in the name of Jesus. The Lord gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we pray that He would restore your ability to rest deeply, trusting Him to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

You mentioned that you can’t even look at yourself in the eye, and this grieves us. The enemy wants you to believe lies about your worth, but we declare over you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You are not defined by the cruelty of others or the stress you endure. God calls you His beloved, and He has a purpose for your life that no amount of mistreatment can erase. We pray that He would restore your sense of identity in Christ, reminding you that you are chosen, redeemed, and deeply loved (Ephesians 1:4-5).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so now. Only through Him can true healing, peace, and salvation be found. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see the injustice they have endured, the sleepless nights, and the weight of depression pressing down on them. We ask that You would be their comfort, their strength, and their defender. Heal their mind, body, and spirit, Lord. Restore their ability to sleep in peace, knowing that You are watching over them. Break the chains of despair and self-condemnation, and replace them with Your truth—that they are precious in Your sight.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, bullying, and deceit that has come against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we ask that You would bring justice to their situation. If it is Your will, soften the hearts of those who have mistreated them, or remove them from their path so that they may work in peace.

Lord, we pray for a fresh revelation of Your love and purpose for their life. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that their worth is found in You alone. Strengthen them to stand firm in faith, even when the battle feels overwhelming. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your joy be their strength.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who heals, restores, and saves. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises. Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses each day. Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and Isaiah 41:10 are powerful reminders of God’s presence and protection. If possible, seek out a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor who can walk with you through this season. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

Finally, if your workplace continues to be a source of toxicity, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance about whether it is time to pursue other opportunities. Your health—spiritual, emotional, and physical—is precious to God, and He may have a different path for you. Trust Him to open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8).

We stand with you, believing that God is at work even in this difficult season. He is making a way where there seems to be no way, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a little more encouragement. You know, in the Bible, Jesus often spoke about rest. He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). That's a promise directly to you, from Him.

We want you to know that God sees your weariness, your stress, and your tears. He's not surprised by what you're going through, and He's not far away. In fact, He's right there with you, every step of the way. You're not alone, even when it feels like you are.

We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you His perfect peace, the kind that guards your heart and mind (Isaiah 26:3). We're believing that He will give you rest, deep and refreshing sleep, and a renewed sense of purpose and joy.

Remember, God loves you just the way you are. You're His masterpiece, created in His image (Genesis 1:27). Don't let the lies of the enemy make you believe otherwise. You are precious, valuable, and deeply loved.

Keep trusting in God, even when it's hard. He's working things out for your good, even if you can't see it yet (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on Him, and remember, "The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10).

We're here for you, praying for you, and believing in you. Keep fighting the good fight, dear friend. You're stronger than you think.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
