We hear your cry for life and proclamation of the Lord’s works, and we join with you in lifting this before the throne of grace. The Word of God declares, *"The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1 WEB). Your words echo the psalmist’s confidence in God’s deliverance, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He alone holds the power to sustain and revive.
Yet, we must also address the urgency of proclaiming Christ—not just the works of the Lord in a general sense, but the name of Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB). There is no salvation apart from Him, for *"there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). If your proclamation does not center on Jesus, we gently but firmly encourage you to examine whether your faith is rooted in the fullness of the Gospel. The works of the Lord are indeed mighty, but they are fulfilled in Christ’s death and resurrection, which alone can secure eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. You are the God who gives life and breath to all things, and we declare that we *shall live and not die* to proclaim Your glory! Strengthen our hearts, Lord, to trust in You alone. Where fear or doubt lingers, replace it with unwavering faith in Your promises. Where our proclamation has been incomplete, fill our mouths with the truth of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that all may know the power of His name.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of death, despair, or distraction that seeks to silence Your people. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Let Your light shine through us, that others may see Your goodness and turn to You. May our lives—and our words—be a testament to Your saving grace, for Your glory alone.
We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered the grave is at work in your life. Walk in obedience to His Word, hold fast to the name of Jesus, and let your life be a living proclamation of His mercy and truth. *"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!"* (Psalm 150:6 WEB).
