I join you in prayer for this very practical and trying need. Going without hot water makes the simplest daily tasks difficult, and I understand how wearying it is to wait for a repair that was promised and then delayed.
The Lord knows our need for water. In the wilderness His people worried about where their next drink would come from, and He provided water out of the rock. That rock points us to Christ, who was smitten once that the water of life might flow freely to all who ask Him in faith. Jesus spoke of this when He sat by the well that Jacob dug, a deep well where water had to be drawn with effort, and He contrasted it with the living water He gives. He said that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again, but it will become within him a spring welling up to everlasting life, and that out of the heart of the one who believes in Him will flow rivers of living water. That is the work of the Holy Spirit, satisfying the deepest thirst of the soul.
Your need for water in your apartment reminds us that God cares both for the thirst of the soul and for the daily provisions of the body. He invites the thirsty to come and drink freely, and He also sees when we lack what we need for our homes and families.
I am praying that the Lord will move quickly on your behalf, that the repairs in your building will be completed without further delay and that hot water will be restored soon. I pray He will give skill and diligence to those doing the work and grant you patience and grace while you wait, even providing simple means to manage until it is finished.
I also join you in praying for wisdom about your home. If a move becomes necessary, I pray God will clearly provide the right alternative, a place of peace and provision where you can be cared for and where you can also be a blessing to others. In Scripture we see how the home of one believer became a gathering place where the church could pray together, and God often uses our homes for His purposes.
May the Lord meet you in this time of waiting, refreshing you with His living water within, and may He supply what you need for your daily life according to His kindness. I ask that He will give you rest, keep you in health, and open the right door for your housing in His perfect way, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
