Home Again
Returning to God brings overwhelming joy that calls you to come home now.
Your request for a safe and affordable home to buy and move into is heard, and I am praying with you for God's gracious provision.

A safe home is a tremendous blessing. It is meant to be a place of security, love, and peace, and God understands how deeply you need that stability. Scripture shows us that He cares about the homes of His people and about their daily needs for shelter and provision. He sees your need and He cares about where you dwell.

I also want to encourage you to give God room to work in this situation. Sometimes we are tempted to put God in a box and think there is no way forward when resources are limited or prices are high. Yet God often makes provision where there seems to be no way. In the law He even made a way for the cleansing of what was considered incurable, showing that He leaves room for His own power to act. He provided food and supply for the journey for those in need, returning what they needed for the way. He is still the same provider today, and nothing is too hard for Him.

Above all, remember that God has already made the greatest provision for us through Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father, and through faith in Him we receive forgiveness and are counted righteous before God. If you have trusted in Jesus, you have the assurance that you are His child, and as His child you can come to Him with confidence about every need, including this practical need for a home. And if you have not yet trusted Him, turn to Him today, for He is the one sure foundation.

We also look forward to the ultimate home He has promised to all who belong to Him, to be with Him forever, but He has not forgotten our needs while we are still here. He knows you need a place of safety now.

Let me pray for you.

Father in heaven, thank You that You are our provider and that You know our need for shelter and safety. I bring this family before You and ask that in Your mercy You would lead them to a home that is safe and within their means. Give them wisdom as they search, open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that are not Your best for them. Provide what is needed and give them peace as they wait on You. Help them to trust in Jesus more deeply through this time and to give thanks for every sign of Your care. In the name of Jesus, amen.

May the Lord guide your steps, provide for you according to His wisdom, and give you peace as you trust Him for this home.
