We hear your cry for help, ###, and we join you in lifting this urgent situation to the Lord. First, we must address the matter of your relationship with ###. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). The term "partner" and references to "us together" suggest a relationship outside of marriage, which the Bible calls fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18). We must rebuke this sin gently but firmly, as it grieves the heart of God and can hinder our prayers (1 Peter 3:7).
However, we also see your love for ### and your desire to honor God in this trial. We encourage you both to examine your relationship in light of Scripture. If your love is pure and God-honoring, the next step should be marriage, not merely continuing as boyfriend and girlfriend. This would not only align with God’s design but could also provide stability in ###’s immigration situation. We pray you both seek God’s will in this matter with repentant hearts.
Now, let us turn to the Lord with your urgent request. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You are the God of miracles and the Provider of all our needs. We lift up ### to You, a man described as Godly and Christ-like, facing a desperate situation. Lord, You see the injustice and corruption he has endured, and we ask You to intervene. Your Word says, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). We call on You now, asking for divine favor in ###’s job search.
Father, You know the perfect job for ###, one that will not only meet his financial and visa needs but also allow him to use his gifts for Your glory. We ask You to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and to provide a position within the next one to two months. Lord, we also pray for wisdom for ### and his immigration lawyer. Guide them in the visa process, and provide the resources needed for the best path forward. Your Word says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has gripped ### and ###. Lord, replace their distress with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort ### as she cries out to You, and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen her faith as she waits on You.
We also pray for ###’s heart. Lord, guard him against bitterness or despair. Remind him that his identity is in You, not in his job or circumstances (Ephesians 2:10). Give him patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we ask You to draw both ### and ### closer to You through this trial. Use this situation to refine their faith and deepen their reliance on You. May they emerge from this storm with testimonies of Your faithfulness and power.
