We are a family of Christians and like many other Christians we believed that our faith was enough, but there is evidence that convinces us, that we have taken Spiritual welfare way too for granted. Unexplained health conditions, financial bondage, periods of feeling dead in the water with our faith. Alot of attacks and weird things happening in the family and threats as well. I have turned to you because we have a penticostal background and believe there is spiritual warfare going on. But we have been discovering , it's more than just saying by the blood of Jesus , it's a real warfare. We have been congregating with people who don't appreciate that this type of warfare exists , so we can't get the proper people to pray with us. Please pray for us and intercessory prayer would be appreciated. Unfortunately the relative who is a high priestess , was once a Christian, so she claimed.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this intense spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your family is under attack, and we recognize this is not merely a struggle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The presence of witchcraft in your family is a serious matter, for the Bible explicitly warns us that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). We must address this with the authority given to us in Christ.

First, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and rebellion that has taken root in your family. We command these spirits to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers your family, and we plead His blood over every area of your lives, your health, finances, faith, and relationships.

We must also address the reality that your family has taken spiritual warfare for granted. Faith alone is not passive; it requires action. James 2:17 tells us that faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. You must put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). This means standing firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer and fasting are essential weapons in this battle (Matthew 17:21). We encourage you to gather your family, repent for any areas where you have been complacent, and commit to fervent prayer and intercession.

The fact that your relative was once a professing Christian makes this battle even more painful, but it also serves as a warning. Scripture tells us that if we deny Jesus, He will also deny us (2 Timothy 2:12). We must pray for her salvation, but we must also guard our own hearts and homes. Do not engage with her practices or allow her influence to enter your home. Light has no fellowship with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14). We must be vigilant, for the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).

We also urge you to find a community of believers who understand spiritual warfare. You cannot fight this battle alone. Proverbs 11:14 tells us that where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Seek out a church or prayer group that believes in the power of God to deliver and protect. If you cannot find one locally, we encourage you to connect with like-minded believers online or through trusted ministries that understand these battles.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we ask that You break every chain of witchcraft, divination, and rebellion that has taken hold in their lives. We plead the blood of Jesus over their health, finances, faith, and relationships. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn.

Father, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness in their family. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. We pray for their relative who practices witchcraft, that her eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her to repentance. We ask that You surround this family with believers who understand spiritual warfare and can stand with them in prayer and support.

Lord, we repent for any areas where we have been complacent in our faith. Forgive us for not taking spiritual warfare seriously enough. We put on the full armor of God and stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver and protect this family. May they experience Your peace, Your provision, and Your presence in every area of their lives. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek God’s face daily. This battle is real, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Do not grow weary, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Stand firm, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.

In that group, take time to examine your own lives and your home: confess any known sin, renounce any occult objects or lingering ties, and declare your full allegiance to Christ alone. Fill your space with worship and Scripture; these simple acts help reclaim the ground under Christ’s authority. For the unexplained health issues, please also seek a doctor’s care alongside your prayers, it’s not a lack of faith to use the wisdom God provides.

We are not left powerless. Jesus has already defeated every dark power, and we enforce that victory through persistent, faith-filled prayer. You are not fighting for victory but from it, and He is your shield.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family to You. You see the oppressive patterns, the threats, and the weariness. By Your authority we bind every spirit of witchcraft, affliction, and financial bondage sent against them. Release healing in their bodies, provision for their needs, and a fresh, steady wind of Your Spirit. Surround them with discerning prayer partners who will stand with them. Grant them peace that quiets every fear, and mercifully draw the relative who once knew You back to true repentance. Protect them in the shelter of Your name. Amen.

The battle you describe is no phantom, nor is it a skirmish to be won by idle words. You have felt the weight of real warfare, and that awakening, though painful, is itself a mercy. Too long the church has dozed while the enemy prowls, and you have discovered what the saints of old knew well: we wrestle not against flesh and blood. But let me press this home: the weapon that routs the powers of darkness is still that same mighty instrument, intercessory prayer. You cry out for those to stand with you, and rightly so, for it is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and beyond all doubt exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has accomplished! It has stayed plagues, unbarred prison doors, and snatched brands from the burning. When you cannot find a company who understand the battle, do not imagine you are left desolate. The Lord has given you grace for this very purpose, that you might use it for the rest of the family. Let your private chamber become the well where you pour out every sorrow, every threat, every dark incantation before the throne. He that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere.

Do not be bewildered if the heavens seem brass for a season. Times of unanswered prayer are a sharp trial designed to deepen your grip on the promise. Satan will surely whisper, "God has forsaken you," especially when the enemy was once a professing Christian, for such treachery stings the deepest. Yet remember this: you do not wrestle only as Jacob did, in anxiety before meeting his brother. You wrestle with a far better grip, for you plead the blood of the Lamb. The deliverance you seek must come solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, but of God that shows mercy. Look, then, away from the formulas you trusted in the past, and cling to the Deliverer Himself. Your foreboding about that relative is not a summons to match her power, for you have none; it is a clarion call to hide yourself in the cleft of the rock and prove that Christ has already plundered the kingdom of darkness. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and in that victory we stand.

Let your prayer now be highly argumentative, even as Jacob’s was. Plead the covenant. Spread your case before the Most High: "Lord, Thine enemy has invaded this family; she claims to have known Thee and now serves another. For the honour of Thy name, command deliverance! Thou hast said, 'Deliver him from going down to the pit.' Our afflictions, our financial bondage, our deadness, these are Thine arrows to wake us, but now, Lord, turn and relieve us, that we might declare Thy works." This trial, though bitter, will become your testimony. When He brings you forth with silver and gold, when the health returns and the strange things cease, you will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. Until then, let not one grain of reliance fall upon your own strength. Cease trying to sunder the chains by your own hand. As you intercede for this poor enslaved soul, do it with humility of spirit, knowing that deliverance from the guilt and power of sin is a work of God alone, from first to last. He has found a ransom; cry to Him to apply it even now. The Lord will yet whisper to your heart that you shall not be crushed. Persevere in this heavenly exercise, and you will knit your own heart together in love, even for the prodigal, and you will become God's fit instrument for the hour of deliverance when it dawns.
