We have 2 sons and 2 daughters and just found out our older son, ###, has been in the hospital in ### for nearly a week now and has had heavy bleeding from the colon and the cauterization didn't stop the bleeding...he has had multiple blood transfusions. The doctors have scheduled multiple tests and procedures for tomorrow and Monday. Please pray they find the source of the bleeding and are able to stop it...he has been very healthy and usually minimizes any illness but he is admitting he is very ill. He planned to be the primary Support Person for his brother, ###, if and when he gets a liver transplant and always having a support person (with the patient 24 hours a day) with the transplant patient is mandatory...they have to stay near the hospital for about a month after leaving the hospital, so we will have to have to have other family members being available for this responsibility, so please pray the best persons will be available for this need.

Our son, ###, continues to need our prayers as he is still very ill from the excessive bleeding episodes and then open heart surgery on Tuesday...we have not been able to talk to him (he and his wife live in ###, N.M. and he is in the hospital in ###, New Mexico). His wife sends brief texts each day but we have not been able to talk to him in the past 2 weeks since he has been hospitalized and he stays in very close touch with us always, so this is not usual, and we are concerned about his condition. I am praying tonight that God will make him "turn the corner" by tomorrow and begin to really improve and be out of danger. He has been such a giving, caring person and being too ill to communicate with us is totally unlike him...so we naturally are very, very concerned. Thank you for all your prayers for ###. Our other son, ###, living here with me, is waiting for a liver transplant to save his life and needs a successful liver transplant soon and is very ill. They are waiting for a compatible donor liver for him now and we are on call 24 hours a day in case a liver becomes available and then he has to be on the way to ### in ### in less than an hour...we live in ### and the hospital is a little over ### miles away. We are so thankful for your prayers for him...it's a miracle he has made it thus far, and we know it is because of God's mercy and so many praying for him.
