We had a serious blow up with our only daughter ### over her new boyfriend who is an agnostic or atheist - depends on which day of the week it is I guess. She is a lonely divorced mother with two girls aged ### and ###. She knows this is wrong but feels God will “bring him along”. While I know this is possible of course, I feel very strongly that we are playing with fire here. It didn’t help that her father and I lost it when the boyfriend approached us in a very confrontational manner and told us we would have to be more tolerant (sounds like political correctness doesn’t it) or he would blah blah blah. Quite frankly, I couldn’t hear anything after that because the blood was surging so loudly in my ears that I couldn’t possibly hear anything after that. Worse than that, her father told him to get out of our house and called him some unChrist like names that he later had remorse for and repented of. Anywho, it has caused a serious breakdown in our family and only God can resolve this. ### (my husband) feels that the more we talk, the worse it will get and I’m inclined to believe him. Anywho, ### says they are “committed to each other” and only God knows what this boyfriend is cooking up next? Did I mention ### and the girls live with us while she tries to get back on her feet?
