Your words carry the weight of a heart that feels alone, reaching out for help for your mother. That desperate cry, “auttakaa,” is not lost on the Lord. It is precisely the kind of cry that draws His immediate attention. So often we assume Jesus reserves His care for those who have everything together, for the outwardly successful or the ones who seem strong. But the Scripture shows us the opposite. The people who were surest of His concern were those who knew He would always turn toward the person with the greatest need, the withered hand, the blind beggar by the roadside. He is not put off by the depth of your struggle or the blighted areas of your life. He is most interested in the one who has nowhere else to turn.
When you pray, you are not informing a distant God of something He doesn’t already know. Your Father knows what you need before you ask. Prayer is not a performance or a formula; it is the opening of the door for Him to do what He has been wanting to do all along. It is drawing near in a relationship already established through Christ. You are not calling into a void. Help is very close. The Lord is nearby, and He hears that simple, honest cry for your mother. Lay the situation bare before Him. His character is to bear long with His children, and even when answers seem delayed, there is a purpose in the waiting that we may not see. He is strengthening your faith and drawing you into deeper communion with Himself, just as He did with those who came to Him in real distress.
You asked about your mother, about being on the line with her, and about who truly belongs. Jesus Himself once redefined what family means. When His own mother and brothers stood outside seeking Him, He asked, “Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?” Then He looked at those gathered around Him, those doing the will of God, and said, “The same is my brother and my sister and mother.” There is a spiritual bond, a family tied together in His love, that runs deeper than even the most precious biological tie. It is a relationship proven not by lineage but by faith and obedience. For whoever does the will of God, that person is part of His true family. You are not utterly alone; there is a fellowship with the Lord and with one another that is bound together by something eternal.
So come to Him now with that faith. Do not be weary or faint in your praying. Your request is not too great, and your need for your mother is not outside His power. He who stopped on His way to the cross to help a blind man in distress is the same Lord who hears you today. Call out to Him. He is near, and He is ready to help.

We continue to ask the Holy Spirit to move mightily in your life, removing any sense of isolation and replacing it with the assurance that you are never without a place in God’s family. May the Lord surround you with believers who will stand with you in worship and prayer, and may He reveal Himself to you in fresh ways as you seek Him.
