Let's begin by thanking you for reaching out and acknowledging the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that our struggles can be turned into victories through Christ who strengthens us.
Firstly, let's address the phrase "suffering by the hand of God's enemies." We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We are encouraged to put on the whole armor of God, so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11 WEB. Therefore, stand firm, and take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are suffering at the hands of Your enemies. We pray that You would soften the hearts of those who are causing harm, and that You would bring an end to this suffering, Father.
We ask that You would give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of adversity. Remind them that You are always with them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love. Romans 8:38-39 WEB. Help them to put on the whole armor of God, so that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We also pray for those who are causing the suffering. We pray that You would soften their hearts and turn them towards You, Father. Help them to see the error of their ways, and to turn away from their sinful behavior.
Finally, we ask that You would have mercy on us all, Father. Help us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us, as Your Son instructed us to do. Matthew 5:44 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of suffering and trials, they can be assured of the victory they are guaranteed in Christ. As it is written in Romans 8:37 WEB No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
