🙏 We All Know God Intimately, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & Exceedingly Great Strength in Resurrecting Christ, Eph 1:17-21...

Beloved of All
Glorious Father, we thank You, asking give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join you in this wonderful prayer from Ephesians and we thank our Glorious Father with you for the privilege of knowing Him intimately through Christ. We love that you are praying Scripture back to Him, for His word does not return void and His desire is for us to know Him deeply.

We stand in agreement with you that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of His might which He worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and made Him to sit at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come, Eph 1:17-21. What a glorious truth that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work toward us who believe.

We are encouraged that you prayed this in the name of Jesus the Christ, for we know that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can come boldly to ask for wisdom and revelation.

We pray together now, Father of glory, we thank You for Your great love and for making a way for us to know You intimately, not just about You but to truly know You. We ask You to give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Flood the eyes of our hearts with light, Lord, so that we may grasp the hope of Your calling, understand the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and experience the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Help us to live in the reality that Christ is risen and seated at Your right hand far above all rule and authority both now and forever. Teach us to walk in that resurrection power and to glory in knowing You, for You have said let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, Jer 9:24, and this is eternal life, that they should know You, the only true God, and Him whom You sent, Jesus Christ, John 17:3. Draw us to know Him and the power of His resurrection more each day, Phil 3:10. We thank You for hearing us and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We love the way you turned Ephesians into your own prayer. Thanking the Father for wisdom and revelation, for light in the heart to grasp His calling and inheritance and power, is a beautiful place to linger.

It encourages us to see you not just asking for help in a hard moment but pausing to savor who God is and what He has already done in Christ. That kind of thanksgiving has a way of steadying us. When we remember hope is not wishful thinking but anchored in what God has promised and shown in raising Christ, our hearts find rest even while we still wait to understand more.

We will keep praying this with you, that your daily walk would keep bringing fresh glimpses of His nearness, and that others around you would catch that same gratitude as you share what He is showing you. If it helps, keep this passage where you will see it each morning and turn it into a brief thank you before the day begins.

Father, we thank You together for Your kindness in Christ. Flood our hearts with light to know You better, to live in the hope You have called us to, and to trust Your great power at work in us. Keep us close to Jesus today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

There is great joy in hearing such a prayer as this, for it is a prayer which God delights to answer. You have asked for that which He is most ready to give, even the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

We join our hearts with yours before the Father of glory and ask that He would grant you what the apostle sought for the saints at Ephesus. True wisdom is not found in the craft of man nor in the policy of this world, but in Christ Himself, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. To know Him better is to be made truly wise, and such knowledge comes not by flesh and blood but by the gracious work of the Holy Spirit opening the eyes of the heart. As it is written, he that trusts in the Lord, happy is he, and that trust itself is the beginning of wisdom.

We pray that the eyes of your heart may indeed be flooded with light, that you may know what is the hope of His calling. This is no common calling. It is a holy calling and a heavenly calling and a high calling, a calling from on high which lifts the heart to heavenly things and sets it upon eternity and holiness. If you have heard His voice and followed Him, you have evidence that you are partakers of that heavenly calling, called not of man but of God, and called effectually by His grace.

We pray also that you may know the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. That power is the same which He exerted when He raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, both in this age and in the age to come. There is but one Throne, the Throne of God and of the Lamb, and there our risen Lord reigns, and there He ever lives to make intercession for His people. The same mighty hand that raised Him will keep and sanctify and finally glorify all who are His.

May the Lord grant you a good hope through grace, a hope that purifies and sustains, and may your faith in Christ have its cleansing and sanctifying influence upon your whole life. May you be kept trusting in Him alone for salvation, for there is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is all hope for us in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior.

So we commend you to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May He fulfill this prayer in you and make you to abound in the knowledge of Christ, to the praise of His glory, in Jesus the Christ's name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in giving thanks to the Father of glory for this prayer from Ephesians, and we pray it with you.

What you have asked is exactly what the apostle prayed without ceasing for the saints, making mention of them before God with great affection. He asked that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ would give a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of the heart would be flooded with light. This is not knowledge that comes by human words alone, but by the Holy Spirit strengthening us inwardly so that we may truly see and apprehend what God has done for us.

We ask with you that you may know more deeply the hope of His calling, the calling by which He has brought us from darkness into His kingdom and promised us numberless good things, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that inheritance of forgiveness, of adoption, of the kingdom which He has prepared for those who love Him. And we ask that you may know the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, the same mighty working which He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, both in this age and in the age to come.

That same power which raised the Lord and set Him as master of the house is now toward us who believe, present everywhere and able to keep and sanctify us. May the Lord keep you steadfast in that power, with enlightened hearts to know His love in its breadth and length and height and depth, and to walk worthy of the hope to which He has called you. We thank God for your faith in the Lord Jesus and pray He will continue to reveal Himself to you more and more, in Jesus Christ's name.

Your prayer from Ephesians 1:17-21 is beautiful and fully in line with the heart of God, and I join you in it.

It is right to ask the Father of glory to give the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know Him better. The word revelation means an unveiling. God does not want to hide Himself from you. Just as He unveiled Jesus Christ to show His servants what is true, He wants to unveil Christ to your heart. This comes not only through knowledge in the mind but through insight given by the Spirit, opening the eyes of your heart so that you see what is real in the spiritual realm around you.

You asked for three things that Paul prayed the Ephesians would see with enlightened hearts, and they are worth holding before the Lord again and again.

First, the hope of His calling. God created all things for His pleasure, and He created you for fellowship with Himself. His calling is not a vague wish but a sure hope, that you belong to Him forever, that your life has eternal purpose in Christ, and that He will complete what He began in you.

Second, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints. This is not only your inheritance in God, but His inheritance in you. It speaks of how much God values His people. He counts you as His treasure. To know this is to understand how precious you are to Him because you are in Christ.

Third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. It is the same mighty power He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, not only in this age but also in the age to come. The Jesus who is seated there is the same as the Father, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, the Word who was with God and was God from the beginning. That resurrection power is not distant. It is directed toward you who believe.

That is why the worship of heaven declares that the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come, is holy, and why all of heaven responds that the Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. He has paid the price to redeem what was lost and He now holds all authority.

Keep praying this prayer. Ask God to search your heart and to show you any way that needs His correction, and to flood your inner being with light so that you know Him more deeply. He is the great I AM, outside of time, faithful and true in all His judgments and all His mercies, and He delights to answer a prayer that seeks to know Christ more. May the Lord grant you this growing knowledge of Himself, a settled assurance in your calling, a deeper sense of how valued you are in Him, and a living experience of His resurrection power at work in your daily life, in Jesus Christ's name.
