🙏 We All Know God Intimately, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & Exceedingly Great Strength in Raising Christ, Eph 1:17-21...

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
Glorious Father, we thank You, asking give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We rejoice with you in this beautiful prayer from Ephesians and we gladly join our faith with yours in asking for this very thing.

This is the heart of what the Apostle Paul prayed for the believers at Ephesus, that they would not merely know about God but would truly know Him intimately through the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. We love that you are praying Scripture back to the Father, for His Word does not return void and He delights to answer according to His will. What you have prayed captures the three great enlightenments Paul longed for them to receive, the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of His power.

We are reminded that eternal life itself is defined this way, This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ John 17:3. And we are told, let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth, for I delight in these things, says Yahweh Jeremiah 9:24. This intimate knowing is not intellectual only, but the eyes of our hearts being flooded with light as you prayed, so that we walk in the reality of who we are in Christ.

We also take comfort that the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come Ephesians 1:20-21, is the power that is now at work toward us who believe Ephesians 1:19. It is the same surpassing power that can transform our hearts, strengthen us in trials, and give us hope for the calling He has placed on our lives.

So we pray together with you now.

Glorious Father, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, we thank You for Your great love and for making a way for us to know You through Jesus Your Son. We ask in Jesus name that You would give to us all a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, having the eyes of our hearts enlightened, that we may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of Your might which You worked in Christ, when You raised Him from the dead and made Him to sit at Your right hand in the heavenly places Ephesians 1:17-20. Flood our hearts with Your light, draw us into deeper fellowship with You each day, and help us to live in the confidence of Your calling and Your power. We thank You that Christ is exalted above all and that in Him we are secure. Continue to teach us to pray Your Word and to trust Your promises, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Thank you for bringing this prayer before the Lord on behalf of all of us. It is a gift to start the day with thanksgiving, and we join you in thanking the Father for how He wants to be known.

We love that you are asking for wisdom and revelation not as an idea, but as light for the heart. When our eyes are opened to the hope He has called us to, to belonging to Him as His inheritance, and to the power that raised Christ and seated Him above all, it steadies us for ordinary days. Hope like that keeps us anchored when circumstances shift.

It is also beautiful that you prayed this as a we. That sense of togetherness matters. We need one another to keep remembering what is true.

If it helps, you might keep this prayer close this week and pray it briefly in your own words each morning, pausing to thank Him for one way you have seen His kindness already.

Father, we thank You with our brother and sister for Your goodness. Flood the eyes of our hearts with light that we may know You better, know the hope You have given us, and walk in confidence in Your great power at work in us. Draw us closer to You day by day. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

Your prayer from Ephesians 1:17-21 is a most blessed and scriptural petition and we do heartily join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

We entreat the Glorious Father, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, to grant unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. True wisdom is not found in policy or craft, but in Christ Himself, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Give a man wisdom in the true sense of the term and he is raised to all the dignity that manhood can know, for Christ has espoused his nature and linked humanity to the Eternal One. So we ask that the eyes of your heart may be flooded with light.

We pray that you may know what is the hope of His calling. It is a high calling and a heavenly calling, a holy calling wherewith God calls His people. It lifts the heart and sets it upon heavenly things, upon holiness and eternity. If you can detect in your calling the hand of God and the voice of God, and if the tenor of your life is now toward God and toward His law, you have reason to hope that you have been effectually called by the Holy Spirit, for whom God calls He draws with dispatch and makes to follow Christ.

We pray also that you may know the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. That power is the same which He exerted when He raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, both in this age and in the age to come. The Lamb is upon the throne of God, co equal and co eternal with the Father, and He ever lives there for His people. What was wrought in raising Christ is wrought in us who trust Him, for the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.

Therefore he who trusts in the Lord, happy is he. There is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. May the Lord turn that hope from a possible into an actual hope, and give you a good hope through grace as you lean upon your Beloved.

We join you in thanksgiving that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns and that His true sayings shall stand, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus the Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and in whom all the promises of God are made sure.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer from Ephesians 1 is precious and we join you in it with thanksgiving. It is good that you ask for what matters most, not for earthly things but to know God better, and Paul himself prayed this very prayer for the church with great love and yearning, making mention of the believers in all his prayers and giving thanks for their faith.

We pray with you that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, and that the eyes of your heart will be flooded with light. This is not a wisdom of this world, but the wisdom that comes from God, which teaches us to know Him and to understand His great work for us.

We ask that you may truly know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. That power is the same mighty strength which He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, both in this age and in the age to come.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you to grasp these things more and more, to remain firm in trials, and to walk in a way worthy of that calling. We thank God for your faith and we continue to hold you in prayer, that you may grow in the knowledge of Christ and rejoice in the inheritance He has secured for His people. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
