We join with you in prayer and lift your heart before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing, restoration, and peace over your life, your health, and your home.
We hear the heaviness you have carried for so long with illness, with OCD, fear and anxiety, with guilt and condemnation, and with the grief over years and opportunities that feel lost. We pray that the Lord will touch your body and your skin and bring complete healing according to His will, for His word says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's Psalm 103:2-5. And also, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We pray also for the restoration of what has been stolen by affliction and fear. God sees every year that felt wasted and every tear you have cried. He promises, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We ask Him to repay in His perfect way what was lost in relationships, opportunities, and finances, and to redeem your future for His glory, giving you joy and purpose in the present.
We want to gently speak to the condemnation, fear, guilt and doubt that you described. These are heavy burdens that God does not want you to carry. Scripture tells us, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. If you are in Christ, your past sins and failures are not held against you. And For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Fear and anxiety are not from Him. Instead He says, Do not be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
You mentioned wanting to forgive yourself and stop living in the past. We understand that feeling, and we want to encourage you with the truth that true freedom comes not from forgiving ourselves by our own power, but from receiving the forgiveness that God has already provided through Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. When God forgives, He removes our guilt completely. We do not need to live in condemnation any longer. We can also learn to forget what lies behind and press forward, as it is written, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Philippians 3:13-14.
We also noticed your request speaks of God generally but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We say this in love because there is no other way to come to the Father except through Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and have access to God. If you have not yet fully entrusted your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
We pray for you as a mother, that God will strengthen you to care for your son and your home with grace and joy, not out of pressure or perfectionism. God does not ask you to be a perfect mother, but a faithful one who leans on His strength. His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear mother to You. We ask for Your healing hand upon her body and her skin, to heal whatever is attacking her. Restore her health and renew her youth and strength. Lord, rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, condemnation and guilt that have tormented her, and fill her instead with Your power, love, and sound mind. Help her to receive Your complete forgiveness and to walk in the freedom that there is no condemnation in Christ. Restore to her the years that have been lost, and give her hope for the future. Teach her to be present, to find joy and even fun again in the daily gifts You give, and to be the mother You have called her to be, caring for her son and her home with Your wisdom and peace. Heal her heart, make her whole, and guide her steps as she seeks Your will. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to stay in His Word daily, to bring every anxious thought to Him in prayer, and to seek fellowship and counsel from mature believers who can walk with you. If fearful or intrusive thoughts come, answer them with Scripture. God is near, He loves you deeply, and He is able to make you new each day.
