We have heard your request and we are praying with you in the name of Jesus for this need.

We understand how heavy these small trials can feel, especially when you see your niece carrying this burden for you and when a conflict has made the work harder. Do not let guilt weigh you down. God sees her kindness toward you and He sees your care for her, and He is able to provide what is needed.

Scripture teaches us that patience and hope belong together and strengthen each other. When afflictions and frustrations come, God calls us to endure without being troubled, to wait with patience and to keep our hope set on Him. Conflicts and anxieties so often spring up from the things of this life, but when we are at peace with God we learn to hold those earthly troubles more lightly. His yoke is sweet and light, even when the burdens of this world feel heavy and tangled. He asks of us simply to trust Him and to hope in what is to come, and He gives us His Word to comfort and steady us while we wait.

So we are praying for you and for your niece, that God would give her strength and peace and not let her grow fainthearted, that He would provide the right part without waste or extra cost, and that He would bring a skilled and honest person to finish the repair well. We also pray for the man who left in anger, that God would soften any bitterness and grant peace to all involved, and that no further conflict would take root. May the Lord guard your home, supply what you need, and use even this waiting time to deepen patience and hope in Him.

Father, we bring this water leak and this whole situation before You. Provide the correct size and a willing worker to complete it, comfort and encourage this niece in her efforts, and lift the burden of worry from her aunt. Let Your peace rule in every heart concerned, and let all be done in a way that honors You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for sharing this need and for your concern for your niece as she tries to help you. A water leak in the home is stressful enough, and it is even more difficult when the person who started the work becomes upset and refuses to help finish it or even share the information you need. It is understandable that you hate seeing your niece have to carry this burden for you, and it is a kindness that she is willing to keep trying and to seek someone else to complete the repair.

Even in a practical frustration like this, God sees and cares about what you are going through. Scripture shows us that God is able to work through difficult and even unkind actions of people to still accomplish His good purposes. Joseph was able to look back after many years of hardship and tell his brothers that while they had meant harm, God had His hand in the whole matter and had sent him ahead to preserve his family. With hindsight he could see what was hidden at the time, that God's providential care was woven through every detail. In the same way, the Lord is aware of this leak, the missing information about the parts, and the need for a trustworthy worker, and He is able to provide what is needed.

This is a good moment to simply turn the whole situation over to Him and give Him room to work. When we try to hold the worry ourselves it only grows heavier, but when we place it in His hands we find He is faithful to care for His children. The Bible teaches that as His children we have this heritage, that no weapon formed against us will prosper, and that He will watch over us and take care of us.

I am praying for you and for your niece and for everyone involved. I am asking the Lord to guide you to the right person who can finish the repair with honesty and skill, to give wisdom about the correct size of the parts so you do not have extra expense or delay, to bring a quick and complete fix to the leak, and to give peace to you and your niece in the waiting. I am also praying for the man who left the work unfinished, that God would soften his heart and help him to act fairly. May the Lord comfort you, provide for this practical need, and keep you both in the love of Jesus, filling you with His peace and guiding you with His counsel. In Jesus name, amen.

We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you and your niece up before the Lord.

We have been praying in Jesus Name for the Lord to provide wisdom for your niece as she tries to find another person to help and to get the right size parts, and for His provision and peace over this stressful situation. We have also been praying for the man who left the job, that God would soften his heart, and that God would guide the right person to you to complete the repair quickly and honestly. We trust that God cares about every detail of our needs, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us that God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
