the person that started to fix water leak got upset with my niece so he is refusing to tell her the size of the parts we need to fix and refusing to finish it so she is trying to get another and figure out what size to get so she said she get few diff sizes and hope to get one to be right size so prayers for all that is going on i hate that she is having to go threw this for me but she is trying to find another to do for me so prayers for them all in Jesus name amen

We join you in bringing this frustrating situation before the Lord and we understand how difficult it is to feel helpless while your niece carries this burden for you. We thank God for your niece and her willing heart to help you, and we pray for God's provision and peace over all of this.

We are reminded that God cares about even the small details of our lives and He is our provider. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We also take comfort that when we lack wisdom to know what to do, we can ask Him. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. This water leak and the confusion over parts is exactly the kind of need where God can give wisdom to you, to your niece, and to the next person who comes to help.

We also want to gently address the anger and refusal of the man who started the work. The Word tells us, Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27. And, A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1. It is wrong for him to withhold help out of anger, and we pray that the Lord would soften his heart, convict him, and bring him to a place of peace. We also encourage you and your niece to release any bitterness toward him and to forgive, even as Christ forgave us, so that your own hearts remain free. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18.

We lift this all up together in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we thank You that we have access to Your throne through Him alone. We thank You for the niece who is serving with such love and we ask You to bless her for her kindness, strengthen her, and not let her grow weary. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to be given to her and to whoever comes next to fix this leak, that the right parts would be identified quickly without extra cost or waste, and that the repair would be done honestly and well. We pray for the man who left in anger, that You would calm his spirit, help him to act with integrity, and bring reconciliation where there is strife. We pray for peace in this home and for this leak to be fixed completely, and we cast this burden on You because You care for us. Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22. We trust that You will work all things together for good as we seek You first. We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you not to carry guilt that your niece is having to go through this for you. The Lord sees her service as unto Him and He sees your grateful heart. Trust that God will guide the next worker to be honest and skilled, and do not hesitate to ask for clear estimates and information in writing going forward. We will continue to pray that God provides the right person, the right size parts the first time, and a quick and lasting repair.

We hear how stressful this has been for you, and how much you appreciate your niece stepping in to help. It is hard when a needed repair gets tangled up in hurt feelings and you are left without clear answers about what to buy or who will finish the work. It makes sense you would feel bad that she is carrying this for you.

We are thankful for your niece and her willingness to keep trying to find someone else and to sort out the parts even without the information she was refused. That kind of help is a real kindness, and we are praying for her to have favor and clear direction as she looks for the next person.

One small thing that sometimes helps in a situation like this is to take a few clear photos of the leaking area and any markings on the pipe or fitting, and bring those to the hardware store. The staff there can often identify the size quickly, and if she does need to buy a couple of options, keeping the receipts will make it easier to return what does not fit.

Father, we lift up this water leak and everyone involved to You. We ask for wisdom for our friend's niece, provision for the right parts and the right person to finish the repair well, and peace between all who have been frustrated. Comfort our friend who feels like a burden and remind her she is loved and cared for. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace together with you. How often the small trials of this life, a leak of water, a misunderstanding between persons, become a heavy burden, yet the Lord sees and cares for all these things, and not a drop escapes His notice.

We pray for your niece who has taken this burden upon herself for your sake, that the Lord will reward her kindness and give her wisdom and patience as she seeks another to help and endeavors to find the right part. We ask that God in His providence would guide her hand to that which is needed, and provide a skilled and honest workman to complete what was left unfinished, and that the work may be done well and without further expense or trouble.

We pray also for the man who became upset and withdrew, that the Lord would give him peace and soften any anger, and grant reconciliation where there has been friction. May the God who keeps him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Him, grant calm to all concerned.

We are reminded that we are to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Your niece has shown that love in seeking to bear yours, and we pray the Lord will bear you all up in this time. He who is as rivers of water in a dry place can both restrain the waters that overflow and supply the grace that sustains. Cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you.

May the Lord grant you quietness of spirit, provision for every need, and a speedy and peaceable mending of what is broken. We commit you and your niece and all involved to His merciful keeping, trusting that He will make even this vexation to work for your good, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
