I join you in prayer over this water leak and the burden it has placed on you. It is encouraging to hear of a capable repairman who was willing to work late into the night to search for the problem and who is returning to continue the work. I am asking the Lord to give him clear eyes and skillful hands to locate the source of the leak and to make a complete and lasting repair.
Water is such a basic and precious provision for daily life, and Scripture often uses it to picture God's care and sustaining grace. Jesus spoke of Himself as the source of living water that springs up within us, and the psalmist describes the faithful person as a tree planted by streams of water, steady and fruitful because the supply does not fail. Even when a practical need like this feels overwhelming, we can remember that the Lord sees both our spiritual thirst and our everyday needs, and He is able to provide.
I also pray with you about the financial pressure of the high water bill. The Lord knows the cost you have carried and the process of showing the repair to seek an adjustment, especially since you have walked through a similar difficulty before with your mother's home. I am asking Him to make that process go smoothly, to provide for what you need, and to keep you from anxiety as you wait. Just as a road is repaired and made level and smooth so the way is clear, I pray He will make the way clear here, removing what is broken and restoring what is needed for your household to function in peace.
May the Lord grant you rest as you trust Him with this, and may He be evident in both the small details of the repair and the larger provision for your home. I pray this in the name of Jesus, that His peace and provision would be with you through each step until the work is finished.
