We join with you in lifting up your children, your grandchildren, and your nephew before the throne of grace and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We know how deep a parent and grandparent's love is and how natural it is to want to see those you love kept safe and watched over. The Lord shares that heart and even more, He is able to keep them when we cannot be with them. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. And again in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
We also pray not only for their physical safety but for their spiritual protection and growth, that they would know the Lord and walk in His ways. As it is written in Isaiah 54:13, All your children will be taught by Yahweh, and great will be the peace of your children. And in Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up these precious children, grandchildren, and this nephew to You. We ask that You place Your hand of protection over each one, guarding their bodies, their minds, and their souls from all harm and evil. Keep them safe in their going out and coming in, at home, at school, at work, and wherever they go. Send Your angels to watch over them and surround them with Your favor as with a shield. We pray that You would draw each of them into a deeper relationship with You, that they would know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and walk in obedience to Your Word. Grant them wisdom, health, peace, and a future filled with hope in You. Give this parent and grandparent peace as they entrust their loved ones into Your capable and loving hands. We thank You that You hear our prayer and that You are faithful to keep those who are Yours. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

How sweet and natural is this prayer which you have poured out before the Lord for your children and your children's children and for your nephew. The heart of a parent and of one who has lived to see grandchildren cannot but yearn over those whom God has given, and it is well to cast them upon Him who is the Keeper of Israel and who neither slumbers nor sleeps.
We join our supplications with yours and plead the precious promise, For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual, for those who walk in the ways of the Lord may expect that heavenly watchers shall keep them. Yet remember that this keeping is promised to those who are in the appointed ways of obedience and faith, for if we go in the way of error we cannot expect Divine protection. Let us therefore pray not only for their safety from bodily harm, but that they may be kept in the way everlasting.
There is also that other gracious word, I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring. You are not to expect that your children shall exhibit merely faint traces of grace, but in the strength of this promise you may look for great things. Plead it before the Lord. Ask that He who has been gracious to you will be gracious to them, that Divine grace may run in your family from generation to generation, and that each child and grandchild and your nephew may be found among the children of God, led by the Holy Spirit, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
