Was my father saved?

Ok, the first answer to the above question would be,"Only God knows for sure".BUT, sometimes God reveals things to us through the Spirit,so someone might be able to "see" something that is revealed to them.That's all I'm asking,if anything is revealed to anyone reading this, based on what I'm posting. Well...we all deal with unsaved loved ones. Me, all my loved ones I can think of are unsaved, and most "hardcore unsaved", like into the occult.I also have an aunt who always badmouths Christians,and has much hostility towards them.I prayed for them, called in prayer lines to do so, but much time passed, and they remained in their "ways" {the occult, etc.}Then there's my father.Now it gets more interesting.He went through some "issues", and then , an interesting thing happened__he , unlike the others, started talking in a" Christian leaning" way!Like, when he learned Billy Graham was on at a certain time,HE said{not me}"Let's watch Billy Graham". He also spoke of volunteering to donate money to Jimmy Swaggart, when he was on!He also, said ",all those who accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, who's to say they're wrong,and that I shouldn't do the same?"Now, if he didn't speak like that before, but started doing it, that sounds like someone who God is inspiring with those thoughts, right?{At least, someone blatantly unsaved, usually wouldn't talk like that}But more...the relatives into the occult, they went to this lady who was a medium, and how the devil misleads people, they said,"well, they pray for only "good spirits" to come up, when discussing that, my father said, accurately,that they're mislead ,and if God doesn't approve of it in the first place, those misguided prayers don't work{Also said that they were summoning up demons, which is accurate.}.{here again, is that something the average UNSAVED person would know?}He also spoke out against abortion, gay marriage, and when the medium had many problems with sickness in her family and self, he said that's probably because of the spiritual adultery!!Fast forward to his death{complications from Parkinsons disease},I don't know if he "sealed the deal" before death,but what I DID feel,at other times soon after, but even the first time or two visiting the gravesite,I felt a strong spiritual feeling that he WAS in Heaven. Some other Christians I told this whole story to, including feeling he was in Heaven said they believed so, also. Anyone feeling anything in the Spirit on this one?Reminds of when me and the immediate family were invited to a friends babys christening, it looked like I was the only one going, the bus driver was about to close the door, then opened it for one last passenger, and it was my father. I think this may be similar to the pattern here, "oh well, I'm the only one. guess no one else made it' as I look around heaven, but like he got on the bus just when I "gave up hope",it may well be the pattern when I get to Heaven!!Seeing anything in the Spirit on this one?

The other thing he said was,"We're born into this world infected with sin..It's in the genes,and passed on to us."'That's in line with Mans' spiritual state since the Fall. How could an unsaved person know that?

StevenBobb, i am not sure if your father is born again, but it seems God has touched him, deffinetely. The fact that he said why shouldnt i receive the Lord as saviour, doesnt proove that he has done the same. I dont know, maybe he is. But God surely knows. Sorry if i have not helped you.
