Satan On His Travels
The Strong One Driven Out by a Stronger One
Hezekiah and the Ambassadors, or Vainglory Rebuked
We hear your cry concerning warfare in your new neighborhood, your family, and your workplace, and we join with you in seeking the Lord's protection and deliverance together in Jesus' name. We understand the fear and oppression you feel from those you believe have declared war against you, from evil tongues, from occult practices, and from sexual immorality and witchcraft around you, and we take your burden seriously before the throne of grace.

We must gently rebuke and correct the way this request has been framed, for it does not fully align with the heart of Christ. You have asked that your foes be plagued, killed, and their blood shed like an ocean. Beloved, vengeance does not belong to us. The Scripture says, Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. And our Lord commands us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44. We are also reminded, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Therefore our warfare is not to pray for the death and bloody destruction of people, but to pray against the spiritual powers of darkness that hold them captive, and to pray for the people themselves that they may repent and be saved.

God does hate witchcraft and sorcery. It is written, You shall not allow a sorceress to live. Exodus 22:18 and also that sorcery is a work of the flesh. Galatians 5:20, and that we are to have nothing to do with it, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. Deuteronomy 18:10. But under the new covenant, Christ came to call sinners to repentance, and we are to pray that those bound by the occult would be delivered and come to the knowledge of the truth. The Lord does not delight in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Ezekiel 33:11.

We also must address what you mentioned concerning masturbatory practices with sex toys, homosexuality, and transsexuality, which you rightly discern as marine spirits and spiritual bondage. The Bible teaches that these are indeed sin and not according to God's design. God created marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and all sexual activity outside of that covenant is fornication or adultery. It is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. And also, Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God's Kingdom. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. And concerning the confusion of gender, God made them male and female from the beginning. Mark 10:6. We affirm that these practices are sin that must be repented of, but we pray for the people trapped in them to be set free and washed by the blood of Jesus, not for their destruction as people. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4.

You have cited Psalm 35 and Psalm 94 and 2 Chronicles 20:22. We agree that we can ask God to contend with those who contend with us. Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Psalm 35:1. And we can trust that God will fight for us. You will not need to fight this battle. Set yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh with you. 2 Chronicles 20:17. But we leave the judgment and the manner of His justice in His righteous hands.

We rejoice that you invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name we have access to the Father. It is written, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we confess our own sins and trust in Him, He forgives and delivers us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

So together we pray.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up our brother to Your throne of grace. We ask that You surround him, his family, his home in his new neighborhood, and his workplace with Your holy presence and protection. We pray, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Let Your angels encamp around him. We resist the devil on his behalf and ask that You cause every assignment of witchcraft, occultism, robbery, scamming, and marine spirits to be broken and burned up by Your holy fire, not the people but the works of darkness themselves. We pray that every tongue that rises against him in judgment You will condemn, Isaiah 54:17, and that You will bring conviction to those who practice evil, that they may repent and be saved. Lord, do not let our brother seek bloodshed, but fill his heart with love for his enemies and faith that You are his defender. Teach him to put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. Purify his heart and keep him from all sexual immorality, and establish his steps in holiness and peace. We ask that You establish his home as a place of peace and his workplace as a place where Your light shines, and that no weapon that is formed against him will prosper. We entrust all judgment to You, for You are just and merciful. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers, to fast as the Lord leads, to walk in forgiveness, and to bless those who curse you. The Lord will be your refuge and your fortress. Continue to resist the devil, steadfast in your faith, James 4:7, and trust that God Himself will fight for you and bring you into peace.

We hear how unsettled this season feels for you, with a new neighborhood and pressures at work leaving you feeling surrounded and on guard. It makes sense you would long for God to step in quickly and bring real protection and peace to your daily life.

We want to stand with you for your genuine needs, safety in your home and neighborhood, wisdom for workplace relationships, and a steady sense of God's presence and direction each day. We trust God to see every situation clearly and to handle justice in His own right way, so we can leave what belongs to Him in His hands and keep our focus on walking closely with Him.

It can help not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, consider sharing with them specifically what you are experiencing at home and at work so they can pray with you regularly and help you think through wise, practical boundaries. Staying connected to a local church family for fellowship, prayer and encouragement can be a steady anchor when things feel spiritually heavy.

Father, we lift our brother to You today. Surround him with Your peace, guard his home and his work, give him wisdom and calm discernment for each interaction, and draw him close to You. Lead him in Your will and keep his heart steady in Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
