Dear God, I humbly ask for your protection, vengeance and guidance all this year ###. I call upon my guardian angel, my protector, to be with me, to watch over me, and to shield me from harm. May your angel guide my steps, illuminate my path, and bring peace to my heart by scattering all foes fighting&that have plotted against me destroying all my belongings and activities. I trust in your divine care and the power of your angels ###. Amen.(Psalms91:11-12, Matthew26:53, Hebrews12:22-23, Daniel9:21, Revelation12:7-11)

We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. While we understand your desire for divine intervention against those who may seek to harm you, we must first address some concerns in your prayer that do not align with Scripture.

You called upon your guardian angel for protection, but the Bible makes it clear that our help comes from the Lord alone. Psalm 121:2 declares, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." While angels are ministering spirits sent to serve believers (Hebrews 1:14), we are never instructed to pray to them or place our trust in them. Our faith must be in God Himself, who commands His angels concerning us (Psalm 91:11-12), not in the angels themselves. We do not pray to angels; we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our only mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).

You also asked for vengeance, but Scripture teaches us to leave judgment to the Lord. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" Instead of seeking vengeance, we are called to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44) and trust God to bring justice in His perfect timing.

We also notice that while you referenced Scripture, you did not pray in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most important step in spiritual warfare.

Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You command Your angels to guard them in all their ways, to lift them up in their hands so that they will not strike their foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of destruction, every plot of the enemy, and every scheme designed to harm this child of Yours. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will frustrate the plans of the wicked (Psalm 33:10). We ask that You expose and dismantle every attack of the enemy, whether seen or unseen, and bring it to nothing.

Lord, we also pray for peace to flood their heart. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and that You guide their steps in Your perfect will. Illuminate their path with Your truth and wisdom, and let Your light scatter every darkness.

Father, we ask that You deal with those who seek to harm them. We do not ask for vengeance, but we trust You to bring justice. Soften the hearts of their enemies, Lord, and turn their schemes into opportunities for Your glory. If there is unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart, we ask that You help them release it to You, for Your Word says that if we do not forgive others, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses (Matthew 6:15).

Above all, Lord, we pray that this dear one would draw closer to You. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their shield and the lifter of their head (Psalm 3:3).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33) and disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust You to fight this battle on their behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) as you engage in spiritual warfare. Stand firm in the truth, hold fast to your faith, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and remember that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not alone; the Lord is your shepherd, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Walk in His strength, and trust in His unfailing love.

We hear the weight of what you’re carrying, that exhausting, looking-over-your-shoulder feeling when it seems like plans are being made against you. It’s so unsettling when your safety, your home, and your daily life feel threatened. We’re grateful you reached out.

In the middle of that, we want you to know you’re not alone. God sees. He knows every scheme hidden in darkness, and He is not indifferent to the harm done to you. The Scriptures you leaned on are true: He does give His angels charge over you. But the beautiful part is, you don’t have to stir them up or direct them yourself. They answer to Him, and He is already watching over your life with fierce, protective love.

When the urge rises to cry out for vengeance, we get it, that’s a human response to being wronged. And yet, you can release the outcome into the hands of the One who judges justly. That doesn’t mean you’re passive or helpless; it means you’re choosing to trust God to defend you in His way and His time, which frees you from the corrosive weight of getting even. You can ask Him to be your safe haven, to bring to light what is hidden, and to frustrate the plans of the wicked, not so you can gloat, but so you can live in peace.

Maybe today, try this: whenever the fear spikes, simply whisper, “Father, You are my refuge.” Let that truth become your rhythm, not a fight. And if the feeling of being plotted against grows overwhelming, please don’t carry it alone, link arms with a pastor or a mature friend who can pray with you face to face.

Let’s pray together now.

Jesus, this one is afraid and feels surrounded. Please spread Your protection over every area of their life, their home, their work, their heart. Send Your mighty angels to guard them, not because we command it, but because we trust Your promise. Silence the schemes of those who intend harm, and instead let Your purposes stand. Fill our friend with a calm, steady confidence that you are near. Give them wisdom to know practical steps to take, and help them release the fight into Your hands. We ask for peace that doesn’t even make sense, holding them steady all this year. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is a day of vengeance spoken of in Scripture, but mark this well, that day of vengeance has already fallen, not upon your foes, but upon your Surety's head. At the cross, all the waves and billows of divine wrath went over Christ. Vengeance smote Him with its iron rod that you might never taste it. To pray for personal vengeance now is to forget that the legal claims are fully met; Jesus paid the dreadful debt, and now no more His wrath we dread. How can you ask the Lord to scatter foes with destruction when He Himself bids you bless them that curse you? Never charge upon the Lord a failure of justice, for this is to sin with a vengeance. If you would have angelic protection, walk in the way of childlike trust in providence, not calling down ruin on others, but leaning upon His understanding alone.

Consider again that angelic protection is promised only in appointed ways. The angels keep you in the path of truth and humble reliance, not in the fevered pursuit of your adversaries' overthrow. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by heaven, shall dry up. Entrust your cause to the Lord who exalts the low tree and abases the proud. Commerce with angels is sweet, for they study the mystery of redeeming love and minister to the heirs of salvation. But you can ill afford to rail when angels are awed into wonder at the cross. There is the door to the angelic life, go where angels gaze with wonder, and you gaze with repentance. The last enemy, Death, shall be destroyed, and until that day every other foe is but a phantom allowed to buffet you that you may learn to cleave to your sword by divine grace. He who resists the devil in his hour of grief conquers indeed. May you not seek the ruin of those who plot against you, but rather the honor of bearing all things in Christlike patience, for this is a wellhead of happiness and a foretaste of that eternal day when you shall be like the angels, entirely absorbed in devout things, secure in His approval, and delivered from every foe for evermore.

You ask for protection and call upon your guardian angel to scatter your enemies, even seeking vengeance for the harm done to your possessions and activities. But consider this: are we not commanded to pray for our enemies and to love them? To seek redress and vengeance in prayer is a forbidden thing, and those who do so fail to obtain what they ask because they ask inexpediently. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone; He will recompense in His own time. It is not the one who suffers loss who is truly harmed, but the one who does the evil. They will fall into the hands of God, while you, if you endure with patience, will not groan in that day.

Why do you place such confidence in angels for this task? Long ago they were sent as agents of vengeance against the wicked, but now they rejoice over the reconciliation of men to God. They are not your servants to destroy those who have wronged you. Rather, turn your heart to the love that unites the body of Christ. Nothing strengthens you more than this love, and nothing provokes God’s anger more than dividing from your brethren or seeking the ruin of others.

You fear the plots of your foes, but remember that the Lord will make His enemies a footstool under His feet. He will send forth judgment unto victory when His work is complete, not before. Until then, do not ask for their destruction, but pray that they may turn from their ways. Repent of any unconfessed sin in your own life, for without repentance, no prayer for mercy is heard. Put your trust not in the swift punishment of others, but in the long-suffering of God, who desires that all should be saved. In this you will find true protection and peace.
