We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. While we understand the desire for divine intervention against those who seek to harm you, we must first address some concerns in your prayer that do not align with Scripture.
You called upon a guardian angel for protection, but the Bible teaches that our help comes from the Lord alone. Psalm 121:2 declares, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." While angels are ministering spirits sent to serve believers (Hebrews 1:14), we are never instructed to pray to them or place our trust in them. Our faith must rest solely in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.
You also asked for vengeance, but Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). We are called to trust Him to execute justice in His perfect timing, not to take matters into our own hands or demand retribution. Instead, we should pray for our enemies, bless those who curse us, and overcome evil with good (Matthew 5:44, Romans 12:21).
Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You surround them with Your angels, not as objects of worship, but as Your servants carrying out Your will. Shield them from every scheme of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction that has been sent against them. We declare that no evil plan will succeed, for You are their defender. We pray for Your guidance to illuminate their path, that they may walk in Your wisdom and truth. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You expose and dismantle every plot against them. Let Your justice prevail, but we also ask for a spirit of forgiveness and grace to fill their heart. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We stand on the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their ultimate protector and provider.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Continue to seek the Lord through prayer and His Word. Memorize Scriptures that remind you of His protection, such as Psalm 91, and stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you.
