We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing. While we understand the desire for protection and justice, we must first address some concerns in your prayer that do not align with biblical principles.
You mention calling upon your guardian angel for protection and guidance. While angels are indeed ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), we are never instructed to pray to or call upon angels. Our prayers and petitions should be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, who is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. This is a critical omission, as it is only by His blood that we have redemption and forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through Him that we can boldly approach God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Now, let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement in this time of spiritual warfare. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We are called to put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11).
We rebuke any spirits of destruction, confusion, or fear that may be at work in your life. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord will expose and dismantle every plot and scheme of the enemy, and that He will restore to you all that has been stolen or destroyed.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection over our brother/sister. Surround them with Your holy angels, Lord, to guard and keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would be a shield and fortress for them, a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we ask for Your vengeance upon the enemies that have risen against them. We trust in Your perfect justice, knowing that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We pray that You would scatter their foes and frustrate their plans, that they may know that You are God (Psalm 83:17-18).
Guide their steps, Lord, and illuminate their path with Your truth. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the strength to stand firm in their faith. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray for restoration of all that has been lost or destroyed, and we ask that You would bless the work of their hands and prosper all their endeavors.
In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of destruction, confusion, and fear to flee. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to walk in victory and testify to Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we thank You for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for their life. May they find their strength and hope in You alone, and may they experience Your peace and protection in the midst of this spiritual battle.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.
