Want to know if my mind is wrong?

God give our people to plant build and live He gave as see to plant trees full of fruit plenty of of an plants to heals ourself. He even give us meat to eat milk to drink but what I now not understand why must we be everything that give you life and a house over our head.

We hear the sincerity in your question and we have taken it before the Lord together. You are not wrong to notice the goodness and generosity of God, for He indeed created all things for our good and His glory. Your mind is searching for truth, and God invites us to seek wisdom from Him.

The Word tells us that from the beginning God provided abundantly. God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food. Genesis 1:29 and The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. He gave seed to plant, trees full of fruit, plants for healing, meat and milk, and all that sustains life. He also placed man in the garden to work it and to keep it. Genesis 2:15. So from the start, God's provision came with our stewardship and our labor.

What you are feeling now, the burden that we must pay and labor for everything that gives us life and for a house over our head, comes from the reality of a fallen world. When sin entered the world, the ground was cursed and work became toil. He said to Adam, Cursed is the ground for your sake. In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground. Genesis 3:17, Genesis 3:19. That is why even though God still owns all things and still provides, we now must plant, water, harvest, build, and work with our hands to receive His provision. The apostle teaches, If anyone will not work, neither let him eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 and also, If anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith. 1 Timothy 5:8. A house over our head is a gift from God, but God expects us to build it, maintain it, and be thankful stewards of it.

We also live among other people, and what we buy often represents another person's labor. The farmer who planted, the builder who built, the one who tended the animals, all labored by the sweat of their face, and it is right that they receive a fair return for their work. At the same time, God has not left us without hope in this struggle. He promises to supply our needs as we trust Him and seek Him first. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Jesus also reminds us not to be anxious, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:32.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can truly understand His provision both for this life and for eternity. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 10:9. Without Jesus, we may see God's gifts in creation, but we cannot fully know the Giver or receive the greatest gift, which is forgiveness and eternal life.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your abundant goodness, for seed and fruit, for plants that heal, for meat and milk, for life itself and for shelter. We thank You that You are a generous Father who gives us all things richly to enjoy. Lord, we ask You to give our dear friend wisdom and peace as they wrestle with these questions. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. Grant clarity to understand Your design for work, stewardship, and provision in a fallen world, and help them to see Your hand still providing through their labor and the labor of others. Provide for their daily needs, give them contentment and trust in You, and draw them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, that they may know You not only as Creator but as Savior. Lead them to seek first Your Kingdom and to rest in Your promise to supply. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.

We appreciate you sharing so honestly what you are turning over in your mind. It makes sense you would notice this tension. You see how God has provided seeds and fruit trees and plants for healing and animals for food and milk, and yet daily life can feel like everything that keeps us alive, even a roof over our head, has a price attached. Wondering about that does not mean your mind is wrong, it means you are paying attention and wanting to understand how God's provision fits with the hard realities of providing for life now.

We were made to be caretakers of what God made, to plant and build and share in what He has given, and we also live in a world where work, ownership, need and broken systems make that simple design feel complicated and heavy. It is a good and faithful question to bring to God.

One small next step that helps many people is to talk this through out loud with a trusted pastor or older believer in your community, not just to get answers but to hear how others have wrestled with the same tension between gratitude for what God has given and the cost of living. Bringing your specific questions about planting, provision and housing to someone who knows your local situation can make it less isolating.

We pray for you now. Father, thank You for providing for us and for giving us minds to seek You. Give our friend peace as he seeks understanding, wisdom for daily needs, and a clear sense of Your care and direction. Guide his steps and draw him close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your question shows a thoughtful and honest heart, and it is not wrong to ponder these things. You have seen truly that God is a bountiful Giver. He has given seed to the sower, trees full of fruit, plants for healing, meat and milk for our nourishment, and all that is needed for life. As one has said, we know not the numbers thereof, for His mercies are innumerable, and every one of them comes to us bearing the mark of His kindness.

You ask why, if God has given so freely, we must still labor and pay and strive for the very things that sustain life and for a roof over our head. The Scripture answers this in two ways.

First, we live in a world that has fallen. When God first gave the garden, all was freely provided, but after sin entered, He said that by the sweat of our brow we should eat bread. The ground still yields its fruit by His command, but it requires our planting, building and tending. This is not because God is unkind, but because He would have us learn dependence and diligence, and see that even our ability to work is from His hand.

Second, our greatest need is not for the body alone. The feeding of the physical frame engrosses much care, but the supply of spiritual food is often neglected, yet your immortal soul is worth far more than the body which will soon pass away. God gives corn and milk for the body, but He has given Christ for the soul. Give me but a Word out of God's mouth, and I can live upon it, for man shall not live by bread alone.

Therefore do not be anxious about what you shall eat or what you shall put on, or where you shall dwell. Your heavenly Father knows that you have need of these things. Your part is to do what is right and honest before Him, to labor faithfully as He enables you, and then to leave the result with God. He who is your Provider would also be your Shelter. As the psalm says, He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings shall you trust. There was once an old house that bore the words, God's Providence is my inheritance, and that is a richer portion than gold.

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust Him for daily bread and daily shelter. Above all, seek the mercy that comes only through the blood of Jesus Christ, His dear Son, who cleanses from all sin, for there is no other name by which we are saved. If you come beneath His cross and trust Him, you shall find not only provision for this life, but a home in the life to come.

I will pray that the Lord will quiet your mind, give you peace as you trust His providence, supply your need according to His wisdom, and draw you ever nearer to Himself, who is both Giver and Gift.

May the Lord teach you from your youth to see His wondrous works, and to declare His goodness all your days.
