Last summer I felt very sick and had to stay in the hospital for a few nights. I was quite disappointed since I had never stayed in a hospital for even a day. However, in no time, The Lord, through His mercies healed me and I was soon out of that place. One thing I very well remember and would always remember was the fact that some radio presenters once came my ward and asked me to request a song to be played on air. Quite interesting, I immediately forgot all my favourite songs and that could have been because I honestly felt very shy to ask for a gospel song. Then I remembered that Jesus said.. 'But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven." This quote just sprung up my spirt and then boldly asked for "Son of Man" by Tye Tribbett. I remember that one presenter even encouraged me when I hesitated because I felt they wouldn't want to play a gospel song on their radio. This indeed surprised me. I believe that through that song many were healed that night Amen. This reminded me and in fact encouraged me to never be shy or ashamed of The God In Me, for He alone stayed in that lonely hospital bed when my parents and everyone else left me. Such unconditional love!
Surprisingly, I had to go back to the hospital yesterday with my mom. The atmosphere and seeing the building alone brought back bad memories of last summer. I actually felt a bit uneasy when I went there because I was in soo much pain the last time I entered that building. Just in the middle of my doubts, I saw this sign which said "do not park here" I know any person walking without God would see this as a mere sign telling drivers not to park at that spot, but I believed and felt that God was telling me something through that sign. To me, "do not park here" meant God didn't have a bed waiting for me in that hospital and neither did He have any plans to stay over night there. Beloved, God is always there to hear us. All you need is to walk in faith with Him, let Him order your path and know how important you are to Him. It doesn't matter what you see physically, for our God doesn't think in the way we do. He always has a plan and this is to bring you to an expected end. When I saw that, God through His mercies encouraged me and put more faith in me through the least symbolic thing. Just know that the God you serve is great and mighty. He makes all things beautiful because HE LOVES YOU AND HAS MADE YOU BEAUTIFUL!! Just keep your head high and enjoy your walk with Him.
