It seems the title walking by faith has been a frequent topic. Well, i'd like to share some personal experiences and how God tests us and we don't even know it. He says in the word the trying of our faith produces patience. It is best to start with small steps on the journey. Like ok... he led me here and he came through for me, then u grow in faith and have the patience to allow his plans to unfold. Just yesterday, i decided to walk by faith, and not by sight. I drove around seeking a homeless man i usually see next to mc donalds. I had been praying for him, and i believe in the promises of Isaiah 58. Unfortunately, it seemed to my rational mind, no one was around to help or preach to. The area was completely deserted, eerie almost...So i decide to turn onto a block for no particular reason..I just stop there, but had belief that God had me out there for a reason, and someone would show up. Well, just when i was starting to become "impatient". Just about the distance i see a woman with a cart coming towards me, at first she seemed normal, but then i realized she was homeless. When i got out the car and got a closer look, it was the same woman and her husband both vagabond's whom i had preached to just a few days ago, at a totally different location!. Divine appointment? I think so. But it takes a leap of faith to get things going..You gotta show some guts! When we read throughout the bible, it was the centurion with his faith being under authority, that truly impressed Jesus, and he granted his requests with gladness. So how do we get the faith, where does it come from..Well, first faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. But how can they hear without a preacher, and how can he preach lest he be sent? There are some excellent preachers. Two in particular are pastor don moore and keith moore. God Bless =)
