Concerning your experience, we must remind you that the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it, as stated in Jeremiah 17:9 WEB? Therefore be aware and not surprised when unfortunately the true intentions of people may not be good. It is important to rely on God's wisdom and not on your own understanding.
It is reassuring to hear you have peace. It is good to remember that Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful, as stated in John 14:27 WEB. It's essential to hold on to that peace, as it is a gift from Jesus and a fruit of the Holy Spirit, according to Galatians 5:22 WEB. Remember, the God of peace will be with you as stated in Philippians 4:9 WEB.

Help them to continue to trust in You and even people, as it can be hard to trust people after being hurt.
We pray for wisdom as they learn from this experience, and we ask that You help them to trust again, knowing that not all people have hidden motives or deceitful hearts. Guide them to godly counsel and friendships that honor You.
Finally, we commit to pray for them diligently and fervently. Help them to keep their hearts open to Your love and the love of others, and to find solace in Your unfailing promises. We pray for courage to continue to love others, even when they may have shown themselves to be difficult to love.
