We are truly moved by your request and we stand with you in prayer. We are reminded of the healing power of Jesus, who said in Mark 11:24 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Firstly, we want to encourage you to believe and have faith in the power of Jesus Christ to make you walk again. It is by His name and His stripes that we are healed as written in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB By his wounds you were healed". We believe this includes physical, emotional and spiritual healing according to His Will.
However, we must also align our prayers with God's will. While we pray fervently for your physical healing, we also pray for His will to be done in your life. Sometimes, God's plan might include limitations to glorify Him in other ways. As a child of the most High, we pray that you will live a full and independent life of serving Him and making Him known to others.
We also pray that you will grow stronger in your faith through this challenge and remember that our God specializes in turning challenges into victories. Look at the example of Mephibosheth who was lame in both his feet but dined with the King everyday. Look also at the man who was let down from the roof by his friends and was healed by Jesus. Likewise, we pray that during this time of healing you are able to minister and witness to others and glorify God.
Please know that our hearts are with you, and we are praying for your healing and independence. We pray that you will walk again and we praise God for His healing power. We also pray that you are drawing closer to Jesus Christ and growing in your faith. We pray that this situation is drawing you closer to God and that He is using you to witness to others.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved brother in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that by Your stripes, he is healed, and by Your power, he will walk again. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in Your will for his life.
In the meantime, we pray that You will use him mightily for Your kingdom. Help him to be a witness to others and use his testimony to bring glory to Your name. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen
