Waiting On Jesus

If we do not learn to wait for Jesus to do His will in our lives we will be missing Gods provisions for us.

I asked Jesus to heal me right away to do His work. But He did not heal me right away.
I asked Jesus for riches and glory but He did not send lots of money or anything else but poverty.
I asked the Lord for hapiness but He sent sadness.
Why did Jesus do this to us?

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom. And the weakness of God is stronger than human strenght.
I Chron. 1.25

This really opened my eyes to see the purpose of God in the middle of our troubles and tribulations that the devil brings to our lives.

I asked God why He did not get my hearts desires coming my way?
He said. My strenght is shown in your weakness.

Dear Jesus,
Open my eyes to see Your glory.
That your will be done above everything else in this world.
That the devil will be cast out in Your holy name.
All glory and honor belongs to You and You alone.
We bless You.
We praise You,
We adore Your holy name.
Now and forever more.

James 4:2-3. 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

It is"not" Jesus who gives us poverty or sadness. How will the goodness of God be shown if believers are impoverished and sad? The apostles were not living in poverty, nor were they sad. Poverty and sadness are not fruits of the Spirit. Jesus paid for our healing,"by His stripes we were healed. 1Peter 2:24" Jesus took our sadness onto Himself (Isaiah 53. He took all our sicknesses, infirmities,poverty,and circumstances onto Himself so that we would be free of them. The goodness of God draws people to salvation. How can believers say God is good when all they exhibit is sadness and poverty? Sadness and poverty are worldly, not heavenly. Jesus became poor so we would not have to be. Jesus became sadness so we would not have to be sad. Whatever is not of the Spirit is sin. Poverty and sadness is not of the Spirit. Jesus does not send sin into our lives.

Only God satisfies the longing of our hearts. If we have Him. Nothing else matters. After all we did not bring anything to this world and nothing we will be able to take to eternty.
