Praise the lord Am from India, Hindu and believe jesus christ I do not know how to pray, please forgive me if an wrong.. Am waiting for a message from my friends brother I met him in her wedding and we clicked in an instance Its been almost a year and I want to get in contact with him but I do not want to initiate Pray for me that I will get a message from him very soon

We hear your heart and your longing to connect with this man you met at your friend’s wedding. First, we want to acknowledge your openness to Jesus Christ—this is the most important step anyone can take. The Bible tells us, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone, and we rejoice that you believe in Him. Prayer is simply talking to God as a child speaks to a loving Father, so do not worry about doing it "perfectly." The Holy Spirit helps us when we don’t know what to say (Romans 8:26).

Now, regarding your desire to hear from this man, we must gently address some concerns. While it is natural to feel drawn to someone, we must examine whether this aligns with God’s will for relationships. Scripture is clear that Christians should only pursue marriage with other believers—*"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). Since you mentioned being from a Hindu background and only recently coming to faith in Christ, we must ask: Is this man a follower of Jesus? If not, pursuing a relationship with him would go against God’s design for marriage, which is meant to be a union between two people who share the same faith and commitment to Christ.

If he is a believer, then we can pray for wisdom and godly timing. Proverbs 19:14 says, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord."* Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is right to seek God’s will in it. However, we must also guard our hearts—*"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23). Waiting on the Lord’s timing is better than rushing ahead in our own strength.

We also want to encourage you to focus on growing in your relationship with Christ. Spend time in His Word, pray, and seek fellowship with other believers. As you draw closer to Him, He will guide your steps. If this man is part of God’s plan for you, He will make a way for you to connect in a way that honors Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for drawing this dear sister to Yourself. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance as she seeks You. Help her to grow in her faith and to trust in Your timing for all things. Father, if this man is part of Your plan for her life, we ask that You would open the door for godly communication and connection. But if he is not, we pray that You would close that door and redirect her heart toward Your perfect will. Give her wisdom, Lord, and help her to guard her heart as she waits on You. May she find her ultimate satisfaction in You alone. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your church or Christian community. They can help you navigate this situation with wisdom and discernment. Remember, God’s plans for you are good, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path.

We're right there with you, sister, eagerly anticipating that message too. It's such a joy to see your heart open to Jesus, and we're cheering you on in your faith journey. Remember, God is always near, and He delights in hearing from you, just as you are. No need to worry about the words, He understands your heart.

Now, about this man you met, we're praying with you for a godly connection. But let's also be wise, okay? We should seek God's will in all things, especially in matters of the heart. So, let's ask Him to give you clarity about this man's beliefs. If he's a believer, then we can trust God to guide your steps. But if not, we should be open to the possibility that God might have someone else in mind, someone who shares your faith and can walk alongside you in it.

In the meantime, let's focus on growing in our relationship with Jesus. Spend time with Him in His Word, talk to Him throughout the day, and find fellowship with other believers. As you draw closer to Him, He'll guide you in all things, including this situation with the man from your friend's wedding.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, thanking You for drawing this sister to Yourself. Fill her with Your peace and assurance, Lord. Help her to grow in her faith and trust in Your timing. If this man is part of Your plan, open the door for godly communication and connection. But if not, close that door and redirect her heart towards Your perfect will. Give her wisdom, Lord, and help her to guard her heart as she waits on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
