Pray that my mother ### will stop hearing deceiving voices in her head. She hears voices that teach her false things, and she believes them.

We hear the burden on your heart for your mother and we stand with you in prayer before our heavenly Father, asking for His mercy, truth, and deliverance to come upon her mind.

We know how distressing it is to watch someone you love be led astray by voices that teach what is false. Scripture is clear that not every voice or spirit is from God. We are told to test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world 1 John 4:1. Jesus said of the enemy that he is a liar and the father of lies John 8:44, and that he comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, while Christ came that we may have life abundantly. The voices your mother hears that deceive her and teach her false things are not from the Lord, for our God is a God of truth and peace, not of confusion. Jesus said you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32.

We also take comfort that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound thinking 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord desires for your mother to have a sound mind, guarded by His peace which surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ every deceiving spirit and every lie that has taken hold in her thoughts, for we are told to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

We want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by His name and His shed blood that we can boldly come before God and find deliverance, forgiveness, and healing, and we encourage you to place your full trust in Him both for your own salvation and for your mother's help.

We pray together for your mother now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother to Your throne of grace. We ask that You silence every deceiving voice in her mind and break every chain of confusion and false teaching that has bound her. Let Your truth shine brightly into her thoughts and let every lie be exposed and cast out. Fill her mind with Your peace, Your clarity, and Your soundness, and guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the enemy and every spirit of deception that would whisper false things to her, and we command it to leave in Jesus name and to trouble her no more. Holy Spirit, speak clearly to her, remind her of Your Word, and draw her to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Give her a hunger for Scripture, which is able to make us wise and to set us free. We also pray for strength and wisdom for her family, that they may surround her with love, prayer, and the truth of Your Word, and that they would seek godly counsel and also wise medical and pastoral help to support her healing. Let her hear Your voice, for Your sheep hear Your voice and follow You John 10:27. Restore her to wholeness, to joy, and to fellowship with You. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray aloud with her and for her, to read Scripture over her daily, and to keep her in fellowship with believers who can speak truth in love. Keep bringing her needs before the Lord, for He is faithful to hear, and keep seeking help from trusted pastors and, where needed, from medical professionals who can care for her mind and body as you care for her soul. We will continue to stand with you, believing that the Lord who is the Truth will set her free.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We hear how heavy this is to watch your mother hear voices that confuse her and teach her things that aren't true, and to feel you can't simply talk her out of what she is hearing. Caring for a parent through this can be lonely and worrying, and we are praying for you both.

We are standing with you for her peace and clarity, and for wisdom and strength for you as you love her. Experiences like this can be complex, touching both spiritual and health needs at once, and it helps to have thoughtful, caring people around her who can listen carefully and help discern the best next steps. You don't have to carry this alone or figure it out by yourselves.

A steady next step when you are able is to help her connect with her primary care doctor or another trusted health care professional who can hear what is happening and guide care, alongside support from a pastor you trust. If you can, go with her, keep a simple note of what she shares about the voices, and keep reminding her she is loved and not alone. If she ever seems unsafe, please help her get care right away through local support.

Father, we lift this precious mother to You in Jesus' name. You know her mind and heart and You love her deeply. We ask for Your peace to guard her, for truth and calm to steady her, and for wisdom, patience and support for her family as they walk with her. Lead them to the right help and surround them with Your care. Amen.

Your burden for your mother has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we join you in earnest prayer for her deliverance.

There are many voices in this world, and some that speak within the mind, which deceive and hide from the soul what it ought to see. Sin is a tremendous moral and spiritual darkness which has spread over the human mind, and it keeps a soul from perceiving its lost estate and its need of Christ. But the Scripture declares that God Himself must deliver us from the power of darkness, and that such deliverance is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We cannot by our own strength cast out the darkness, but we look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone.

We pray that the Lord who is gracious will speak over your mother that blessed word, Deliver her from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in the gift of His own Son. Jesus Christ is that ransom, declared to be the Son of God with power, and through His blood there is redemption and light for those who sit in darkness.

There is one voice which we are commanded to hear above all others, the voice from the excellent glory which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. That still small voice of love speaks not with terror as from Sinai, but through the interposing Mediator, and it speaks truth without deceit. We pray that your mother may be turned from every deceiving voice to hear Him, to hold fast the form of sound words which is perfectly scriptural, and to find rest in the truth as it is in Jesus.

We entreat the Lord to keep back her soul from the pit and her life from perishing, to chase away the power of darkness that now troubles her mind, and to grant her a sound mind stayed upon Christ. May He grant her clarity, peace, and faith to believe not the false things whispered in darkness, but the faithful testimony of His Son. May He also sustain you as you love and care for her, and give you wisdom to bring the Scriptures and the prayers of the church continually before her, and to seek such godly and practical help as may be needful for her infirmity.

We will continue to pray that she shall not remain under this affliction, but shall live and declare the works of the Lord, giving thanks for deliverance from the grave and from the power of darkness, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
