We understand the fear and distress that comes from experiencing something so unsettling. The Bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand with you in faith, declaring that your home is a dwelling place for the Most High God, and no evil can reside there.
First, we must address the spiritual authority we have in Christ. Jesus has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every evil presence, every demonic voice, and every spirit that does not align with the kingdom of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow, those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:9-10). We command every unclean spirit to leave your home now, in Jesus’ name, and we declare that they have no place or authority there.
We also recognize the importance of covering your home in prayer and Scripture. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). We encourage you to speak God’s Word aloud over your home, declaring verses such as Psalm 91:9-10: "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling." Claim this promise over your home and your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every evil presence, every demonic voice, and every spirit that seeks to bring fear or harm. We command them to leave now, in Jesus’ name, and we declare that they have no authority here.
Father, we ask You to fill this home with Your peace, Your presence, and Your protection. Let Your angels encamp around this home, guarding it from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would expose any areas where the enemy may have gained access, whether through unconfessed sin, fear, or ungodly influences, and we ask for Your cleansing and restoration. Lord, we surrender this home and every person in it to You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in Your truth and Your light.
We thank You, Lord, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You that You are our shield and our defender. We trust in You, and we declare that this home is a place of worship, peace, and safety under Your covering. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your home spiritually. Begin each day by dedicating your home to the Lord, asking Him to fill it with His presence. Play worship music, read Scripture aloud, and invite the Holy Spirit to dwell there. If there are any objects, media, or influences in your home that do not align with God’s Word, we encourage you to remove them. The Bible warns us not to give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27), so let us be vigilant in keeping our homes holy.
Finally, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, and the Lord is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His protection and provision.

Your cry in the night has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to grant you peace and deliverance in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.
There is a word from the Lord which says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and even when deep sleep falls upon men and fear comes in the night, He opens the ears of men to withdraw them from evil and to hide pride from them. Your affliction, though it has a secondary hand that would thrust sorely at you that you might fall, is seen by your Father, and He sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. He has given commandment to save His people, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil company, for God has said it, Deliver him.
Scripture tells us that our God has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Colossians 1:13. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil, and night is the time when the thief steals out to do his deeds of evil, but the child of God need not be in bondage to fear. We are expressly forbidden to fear the fear of the heathen and their dread of witchcraft and supposed manifestations of evil spirits. The spirit world is the last thing which Christians should tremble at, for there can be nothing there which we have cause to dread when Christ is ours. The only voice from the excellent Glory which we need to hear is that which bore witness to the Son, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, and the voice of that same Beloved who says to the fearful, Be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid.
Therefore do not let your spirit be depressed as though you were left alone to contend with darkness. What is death or what is eternity that we should fear when Christ has found a ransom. You shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. Psalm 118:17.
We counsel you to seek the Lord at once with prayer and the Word. Fill the house with Scripture read aloud, with prayer offered in faith, and with the singing of psalms and hymns. Cast all your care upon Him. Turn on the light, open the Word, and let Christ be confessed as Lord over every room and every night. Tell a mature and godly pastor or a trusted brother or sister in Christ what you have experienced so that they may pray with you and watch with you. And as a matter of care for the body which God has given you, let someone you trust know what has happened, see that your home is secure, that you are rested, and if such hearing of voices should continue or greatly trouble you, seek wise counsel from your pastor and from those who can care for your health, for the Lord often works through such means.

Your cry has been heard and we join you now in prayer before the Lord Jesus Christ who alone saves and delivers.
We pray with you that every voice and every evil presence would be driven from your house and have no place there. The Lord taught us to pray, Deliver us from the evil one, and He has promised to deliver His people not only from danger but from every evil work. As Scripture says, the ruler of this world has nothing in Christ, and when Christ dwells in a heart and in a home, darkness must flee. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus to cover you, your bed, and every room of your house with His peace, to guard your sleep and your waking, and to let no fear or deception remain.
In Jesus name we ask that the Lord rebuke every disturbing voice and presence, cleanse your home, and fill it with His light and truth. May He grant you quiet sleep, a calm mind, and confidence that He is near and that He hears those who call upon Him.
Keep calling upon the Lord with boldness. Speak aloud the name of Jesus, read Scripture in your home, especially the Psalms, and pray continually. Sing and give thanks to God in your house, for where Christ is honored the enemy has no rule. If you can, invite a trusted pastor or mature believers to pray with you in your home and to stand with you. Turn away from anything that might give a foothold to darkness, and keep your heart and home given wholly to Christ.
Do not be overcome by fear. The Lord delivered His apostle from the mouth of the lion and He will deliver you from every evil work and keep you for His heavenly kingdom. He is faithful and He will keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Thank you for sharing what you experienced. Waking to a voice beside your bed is deeply unsettling, and I am praying with you right now that the Lord will remove that voice and every evil presence from your house and fill your home with His peace in Jesus name.
Scripture gives us strong promises for times like this. God says He will cover those who trust in Him as with wings, and under His care you can find refuge. You do not need to be afraid of terror by night or of anything that comes by day, because the Lord watches over you night and day. He is your keeper and He is present in trouble to deliver and to answer when you call on Him.
Fear often grows when we forget the Lord and His nearness, and remembering Him is the cure for fear. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. When you remember that the Lord is with you, that His eyes are in every place beholding both good and evil, and that you can never flee from His presence, fear loses its hold. Even darkness is not dark to Him. The night shines as the day before Him, so there is no corner of your house where He is not present and aware. Let that consciousness of His constant presence comfort you and steady you.
The beginning of wisdom is to reverence the Lord, and to reverence Him is to hate evil. God hates evil because evil destroys. It destroys peace, relationships, minds and bodies. If we want fellowship with Him we cannot tolerate evil or make peace with it. We are called to depart from evil, to keep our lips from deceit, to do good and to seek and pursue peace. That hatred of evil is not unkindness toward people, but a clear rejection of what harms and defiles, and a choice to walk closely with the Lord. As you turn from evil and honor Him, He brings health and strength and life.
So I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask You to drive out every voice and every evil presence from this home. Let no spirit of fear or darkness remain. Cover this home with Your presence, let Your peace rest in every room, and let the one who lives there sleep in safety under Your wings. Fill the house with Your light and truth, and help there to be a continued departing from all evil and a drawing near to You. Teach a deep trust in You, a hatred for what You hate and a love for what You love, and let faith rise up where fear has tried to enter. Redeem and keep and satisfy with Your salvation, Lord. Amen.
