We have heard your heart's cry and we stand with you before El Elyon, God Most High, asking that the sins of your mother, yourself, your brother and your whole family line and ancestry may be taken away, covered and forgiven, and that your days and your eternity may be a service to Him that reflects His glory.
We rejoice that you have called upon Yeshua HaMashiach, for He is Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is only through His name and His blood that we have access to the Father and the forgiveness you are seeking, and we want to gently remind you that forgiveness does not come through words or letters or numbers or times or places or through our own sacrifices and services, but through the one perfect sacrifice He has already made for us.
The Word tells us, but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7 and in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace Ephesians 1:7. For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Corinthians 5:21. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all Hebrews 10:10, for by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified Hebrews 10:14. This means we do not need to offer further sacrifices to earn forgiveness. His sacrifice is sufficient and complete, and our service flows from gratitude, not to earn what He has already freely given.
We also understand your burden for your family background and ancestry. Scripture is clear that each of us is accountable before God for our own sin, The soul who sins, he shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son Ezekiel 18:20. Yet we know that patterns of sin and brokenness can pass through families, and God is mighty to break those chains and make all things new for those who are in Christ. He promises, Come now, and let us reason together, says Yahweh: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool Isaiah 1:18 and As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12.
Your desire that your days and your eternity may be as a service is beautiful and reflects what God calls us to, Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service Romans 12:1. This living sacrifice is not to pay for sin, but is our worship in response to His mercy.
So we pray together with you now.
Father, in the name of Yeshua our Messiah, Jesus Christ, we come before You as El Elyon, the Most High God who reigns over all words and letters, time and place, and numbers, for all things are under Your dominion. We thank You for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for us. We ask that You wash away, cover and forgive the sins of this dear one, of his mother, of his brother and of their entire family line according to Your riches in grace. Let the power of the one offering of Christ be applied to each heart that turns to You in faith. We ask that You break every generational chain of sin and darkness and let Your glory shine upon this family. Make their days a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to You, and prepare them for eternity with You. Help them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, that they will be saved Romans 10:9, and to walk in the light in fellowship with You all their days. Let Your glory and the glory of Your eternity be revealed in them and through them. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Yeshua HaMashiach, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust not in any formula or remembrance of words and times, but in the living person of Jesus Christ alone. Bring your mother and brother before Him daily in prayer, share the good news of His forgiveness with them, and walk in the assurance that when we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us.
