We pray for your husband's healing and continued protection. We ask the Lord to touch his body, to bring stability and restoration where there has been trauma, and to guard him from further harm. Scripture reminds us that He is our healer, as it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We encourage you both to continue to gather all medical records honestly and thoroughly, to speak truthfully in the appointment, and to rest in the Lord's sovereignty over the outcome, knowing He sees every sacrifice made in service.

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you, pleading for the Lord's mercy upon your husband and for His gracious hand upon this final appointment and decision.

We are mindful of your husband's honorable service and of the scars he bears from his labor as a mechanic, and of this heavy burden of a head injury which has led to an aneurysm. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How much more should we seek the heavenly Physician, whose healing power is such that Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, and even the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is healing. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon him with healing in His wings, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people.

We also pray for favor in this matter of the claim. When the Lord turns in a way of grace to His people, He then seems to be flying on the wings of the wind, for He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice. We ask that the Lord would grant wisdom and impartiality to those who review the case, and that what is just and right would be granted. Whether the claim be regarded as done with according to any legal process, we pray that the Lord Himself would be your advocate and provider, and that His favor, which is better than any earthly decision, would rest upon your household.
