We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with your heartfelt plea for restoration, repentance, and healing in your marriage and family. Your burden for your son and your desire to see godly sorrow lead to true repentance—without regret—has been heavy on our hearts as we pray. We have asked the Holy Spirit to move with conviction, just as Jesus promised in John 16:8, and for the Lord to bring about a change of heart that aligns with His will, as described in 2 Peter 3:9 and 2 Corinthians 7:10.
We have prayed for your son to be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord, as Ephesians 6:4 commands, and for the marriage covenant to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church, as outlined in Ephesians 5:32-33. We have resisted the enemy on your behalf, asking that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church you are part of, just as Matthew 16:18 declares. We have also asked the Lord to humble hearts, to bring about the "gentle blowing of the still, small voice" that Elijah heard in 1 Kings 19, and to draw your family closer to Him through whatever means necessary—even if it requires shaking the foundations around them.
If the Lord has answered any part of your prayer in these past days, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer is still unfolding or if the battle feels unrelenting, we encourage you to post this request again and allow us to continue standing with you in prayer. We will not grow weary in lifting you up, for we know that the fervent, effectual prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).
May the Lord continue to strengthen you as you persevere in prayer and fasting, speaking tenderly to her heart as Hosea 2:14 describes. May He grant you grace to love unconditionally, even as you hold fast to His truth. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
