We are saddened to hear about the struggle with video game addiction and the impact it's having on your son's life. We will pray for his deliverance and for his heart to be opened to Jesus. Remember, God has called us to be sober and self-controlled. As it is written, "Be sober, be self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 WEB).
Video game addiction is a real and serious issue, and it's important to address it with urgency and wisdom. We commend you for your persistent efforts to guide your son towards a more productive path and, most importantly, towards Jesus. As it is written, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear son to You. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of video game addiction in his life. Open his eyes to the reality of his situation and give him the strength and wisdom to make positive changes. Help him to prioritize his studies and to understand the importance of proper rest.
Most importantly, Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and open it to Jesus. Reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, and draw him into a personal relationship with You. As it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
