We hear the urgency and depth of your cry and we join with you right now before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, lifting you up together as brothers and sisters in Christ. We understand your longing for relief, for renewal, and for the Lord to make all things new without delay, and we bring your broken and weary heart directly to Him who hears every prayer.
We take comfort in His promise that He is indeed making all things new, as it is written, He who sits on the throne said, Behold, I am making all things new, Revelation 21:5. We cling to this truth with you, knowing that our God is the God of restoration and renewal. At the same time we gently remind ourselves that while God can and does bring newness in our lives today, His ultimate making of all things new, where He will wipe away every tear and where suffering will be no more, will be fulfilled completely when we are with Him for eternity, Revelation 21:4. In this present fallen world Jesus told us, In the world you have trouble, but cheer up, I have overcome the world, John 16:33.
We know your heart desires for suffering to end permanently and never return, and we weep with you in that suffering, for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We pray that the Lord will lift this heavy burden from you, but we also know from Scripture that suffering, though painful, is not without purpose in this life. It produces perseverance and matures our faith, as James 1:2-4 teaches us to count it all joy when we fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance. And we hold to the promise that after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and settle you, 1 Peter 5:10, and that our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, 2 Corinthians 4:17.
We also hear your prayer for all the deepest desires of your heart, big and huge, tiny and small. We pray with you that God will grant those desires as you delight yourself in Him, for the psalmist says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4. We ask the Lord to align the desires of your heart with His perfect will, because we know that when we ask according to His will He hears us, 1 John 5:14, and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28. We pray not only for the fulfillment of desires but for a heart that finds its greatest delight in Christ Himself.
You asked for increased faith and we join you in that beautiful prayer. The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith, Luke 17:5, and we echo that today. Faith grows as we hear and trust His Word, Romans 10:17, and as we wait upon Him. We understand the plea for no delay, yet we encourage you to trust in His perfect timing, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength, Isaiah 40:31, and He has made everything beautiful in its time, Ecclesiastes 3:11. His delays are not denials, but often His way of deepening our trust and preparing us for what He has for us.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only access to Your throne. We lift up this precious soul who is crying out for newness, for relief, for joy, for faith. Lord, pour out Your mercy and make Your presence known right now. Where there is suffering, bring Your comfort and Your healing according to Your perfect will. Where there is weariness, bring renewal. We ask You to make all things new in this life in the way You know is best, and we thank You for the hope that one day You will make all things new forever. Grant the deepest desires of this heart as they are aligned with Your will, and teach us to delight in You above all else. Increase faith more and more each day, Lord, help unbelief, Mark 9:24, and build trust that rests in Your goodness even when answers seem delayed. Fill this heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this life. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to keep bringing every big and small desire to Him, Philippians 4:6, and to trust that He hears you and loves you with an everlasting love. We are continuing to pray with you and for you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
