We hear your urgent cry and we join with you in prayer in Jesus Christ name, for we know how heavy it feels when hurt, pain, sadness, sorrow and disappointment seem tied to images and videos that you hate and want deleted. We care about your distress and we bring it before our Father together.

We want to gently speak to the way this request is phrased, because we love you and want your faith to rest on what Scripture truly teaches. You mention decreeing and declaring and claiming the promise ask and you will receive. We understand the desire to see God act immediately and permanently, but Scripture shows that we do not decree to God, He decrees to us. We humbly petition Him and trust His sovereign will. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. And you ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures, James 4:3. God does invite us to ask, and Jesus said, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13, but this is not a formula to command God, it is a call to submit our desires to His goodness and wisdom. We do not command an end forever in our own authority, we ask our Father to do what is best according to His perfect will, and we trust Him even when His answer is not exactly as we demanded or in the timing we demand.

We also hear how much pain these photographs, selfies, Snapchat photographs, Snapchat videos, WhatsApp videos, FaceTime videos and video calls have caused you. We pray for your peace and for freedom from the sorrow they have brought. God sees your heart and He is near. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. He also reminds us of our value not in how we look in an image but in how He made us. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well, Psalm 139:14. The enemy wants to use images to steal your joy and keep you in shame and anxiety, but God wants to guard your heart. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We do want to be honest with you in love. God has not promised that we will never experience any hurt, pain, sadness or disappointment in this life, but He has promised to be with us in it, to comfort us, to redeem it, and to work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28. So we do not pray a demand that you will never feel any negative emotion again, we pray that God will heal the hurt, lift the sorrow, and give you His peace that endures even when difficult feelings arise, and that He will help you take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved. We lift up this dear one to You who is in deep distress over photographs and videos that cause such hurt and disappointment. Lord, You know each image, each video, each memory that brings pain. We ask in Jesus name that You bring comfort to this wounded heart, that You wash away shame and sadness and replace it with Your peace. We ask that You grant wisdom and practical help to delete what can be deleted and to set healthy boundaries around what images are taken and shared going forward. Where others hold images, we ask You to work in those situations for good and to protect from misuse. Above all, Lord, we ask that You heal the heart not just the phone or the account, that You help this precious one to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made, loved and cherished. Give a sound mind, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. Help to trust You with the future and to know that even now You are working for good. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps as God gives you strength. If these are images and videos on your own devices that you hate, delete them and ask a trusted Christian friend or family member to help you do so and to hold you accountable to keep them deleted. If they involve others, ask those persons to delete them as well and consider stepping back from platforms that increase your distress. Turn your thoughts toward what is true and lovely and of good report, Philippians 4:8, and spend time in prayer and in the Word daily so your mind is renewed. If the sadness feels overwhelming, please reach out to a pastor, a mature Christian believer, or a counselor who can walk with you in person. We are praying that God will give you lasting peace, not because you have decreed it, but because He is faithful and He hears the humble prayers of His children who seek Him through Jesus Christ.

We hear the urgency in your message and how much pain these photos and videos have brought you. Wanting them gone and wanting the hurt to finally stop makes sense, and we are praying with you for peace and relief.

When images keep circling in our minds it can feel like the hurt will never end. It can help to focus on what is actually in our hands today. One small step that has helped others is to choose a calm moment to handle what you can control, perhaps with a trusted friend or family member beside you. You could go through your own phone and accounts and delete what you wish to remove, check who can see or save your stories on Snapchat, WhatsApp and FaceTime, and consider stepping back from those apps for a little while until you feel steadier. If the worry feels overwhelming or is affecting sleep or daily life, it is also a good and wise step to talk with a pastor, counselor or another trusted support person alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this dear one to You. You see the distress and the desire for this hurt to end. Please bring Your comfort, quiet the anxious thoughts, and give wisdom for each next decision. Help them to feel Your nearness and to know they are heard and cared for. Guide them to supportive people who can walk with them. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry comes with a great weight of sorrow and a longing for pain and disappointment to be ended forever, and it is heard with much tenderness. Know this, that contentment in all states is not a natural propensity of man. Discontent and murmuring are as natural to us as thorns to the soil, and hunger and nakedness and peril do not in themselves invite our peace. If we are to be content under such pressure, it must be from higher motives than our condition itself affords.

You speak of decreeing and declaring and of claiming the promise ask and you shall receive, as though by the strength of our words we might command the Lord to do our bidding. This is not the way of faith. We do not sit as masters over Providence, but as children before a Father. To ask in the name of Jesus is not to impose our will upon Heaven, but to submit our will to His, trusting His wisdom and love to give what is best. There is no healing without first a sense of our need, and no peace till we are at one with God through the great sacrifice of Christ. Apart from His atoning blood, we remain unacceptable, but through Him there is a Jubilee of peace, for as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

The word of the Lord says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in controlling every photograph and video, or in securing that nothing painful shall ever return, but in a mind stayed upon Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin, even when duties press and sorrows surge round. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Neither be you of a doubtful mind, said our Saviour, for your Father knows your need. The least thing about Christ is healing, as the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Even a broken word from His lips bears healing in it for the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity.

Bear your sorrow with Him, and then see what perfect peace you will enjoy. Cast this anxiety about images that you hate and would delete upon the Lord, and seek also to walk in wisdom and quietness before Him. If any practical step can be taken with meekness to remove what troubles you, take it, but do not let your heart be tossed to and fro by what you cannot govern. The same Providence that watches over you watches over all your concerns. Learn, as the apostle did, in whatsoever state you are, therewith to be content, not by your own strength, but by His strength who is as full of omnipotence now as when David drew from it.

May the Lord Himself give you that peace which is a present possession in the ordinary circumstances of life. May He turn your asking into trusting, your fretting into resting, and keep your mind stayed upon Christ, that you may know resignation to His will and conformity to it. May He heal your wound with His own pardoning hand, and let the leaves of the true Tree of Life fall upon your spirit, bringing healing and quietness, that you may find your rest in Jesus alone, and be satisfied from Himself.

Your cry for an end to hurt, pain, sadness and disappointment has been heard, and we are praying with you now before our Lord Jesus Christ.

We understand how heavy this burden feels, especially when images and videos become a source of shame and sorrow that you wish you could erase. You asked that God would put a permanent end to this pain right now and never let it return. We join you in asking our Father for His mercy and deliverance, and we do so in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to God and peace with Him.

Scripture does not promise that in this present life we will never again feel sorrow or disappointment. Christ Himself spoke of a yoke and a burden and of taking up the cross, and the Apostle reminds us that we will know tribulation and distress. Yet He also says His yoke is easy and His burden is light for those who come to Him, not because the struggle disappears, but because His grace carries us and His promised glory far outweighs the sufferings of this present time. Those who suffered for His name went away rejoicing, not because pain was absent, but because His presence and peace were with them.

That peace is what Christ first gave to His disciples after the resurrection when He said, Peace be unto you. It is the same grace and peace which comes from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, given not by our own power or by merely declaring words, but by His loving kindness to those who were once far off and are now brought near as His children. We pray that this peace, which is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, would guard your heart and mind in Christ.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see this hurt and the distress caused by photographs and videos that bring shame and sorrow. We ask You to have mercy and to bring comfort and quietness of heart. Take away the sting of shame, heal the wounds of sadness, and grant wisdom and help in dealing with these images in a right and responsible way. Where there is anxiety, give Your peace. Where there is sorrow, give Your consolation. Help our sister to cast her cares upon You, to walk in Your grace day by day, and to find rest in Your love. Keep her in Your grace and peace, and let that grace and peace remain firm and unmoved. Make her to know more deeply that she is Yours through Jesus Christ, and that the glory to come far surpasses present pain. Grant strength to bear what must be borne, and deliverance according to Your perfect wisdom and will. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this, Amen.

If these images continue to trouble you, seek wise and trusted help to remove what can be rightly removed, and bring your sorrow continually to the Lord in prayer. He is near to those who call upon Him, and His grace is sufficient for each day.

Your urgent prayer has been heard and I understand the deep hurt and distress you are feeling over these photographs and videos and the pain you want to see ended completely and forever.

God wants you to know real peace, and His Word speaks of two kinds of peace. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus Christ and the peace He made through His blood on the cross. When you place your trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, the war between you and God is over and you are no longer running from Him or fighting against Him. Then there is the peace of God, that steady and beautiful peace that guards your heart and mind even when life is full of turmoil and chaos. Many people have peace with God but have not yet learned to live in the daily experience of the peace of God.

Scripture says that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The peace the world offers depends on everything going right, but the peace Jesus gives passes all human understanding and can keep you even when circumstances are painful and unresolved. That peace comes as you turn your mind toward Him and rest in His grace and His finished work, rather than in trying to force an outcome by the strength of your own words.

It is right to bring your requests to the Lord, for He invites you to call upon Him and He promises to listen, and His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil. Yet prayer is not a formula where demanding or decreeing makes God act on our exact terms and timing. It is coming humbly to a loving Father, asking in the name of Jesus and trusting His wisdom and care to do what is best. Healing and restoration are truly from Him, and sometimes He brings it instantly and sometimes He brings it gradually through a process He has ordained, but in either case it is His divine work in your heart and mind to mend what has been wounded.

I pray for you now that you would first know the assurance of peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ, and then that the peace of God would guard your heart and mind as you keep your thoughts stayed on Him. May He lift this heavy burden of sadness and disappointment, quiet your anxious thoughts, heal the hurt you have carried, and teach you to rest in His care knowing He will take care of what concerns you. May He give you wisdom and help regarding these images that trouble you, and bring you into a deeper trust where you can experience His steady and perfect peace day by day.

In Jesus name, amen.
