Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear your desperate cry for healing and restoration, and we join you in bringing this burden before our Heavenly Father. The longing for wholeness, both in body and spirit, is a deep and human desire, and we believe God hears the sincerity of your heart. However, we must also remind you that true healing begins with surrender to God’s will, not our own demands. While we pray fervently for your physical restoration, we must also seek His perfect plan, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

First, we want to address the foundation of your prayer. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus Christ, and we affirm that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 52:5, 1 Peter 2:24). We stand on this truth as we lift you up in prayer.

Father God, we come before You with humility and faith, knowing that You are the Great Physician. You formed our inward parts and knit us together in our mothers’ wombs (Psalm 139:13-14). You see every mark, every scar, and every imperfection, and You care deeply about the burdens we carry. Lord, we ask that You touch ###’s face with Your healing hand. Where there are scars, bring restoration; where there is discoloration, bring renewal; where there is pain or self-consciousness, bring peace and confidence in Your design. We declare that by the power of Jesus’ name, Your healing virtue would flow, making all things new (Revelation 21:5). We ask for a miracle, not just for physical transformation, but for a deeper trust in Your goodness, even if Your answer comes in ways we do not expect.

We also want to gently remind you that our worth is not defined by outward appearance. The world often places undue emphasis on physical beauty, but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). While we pray for your healing, we encourage you to seek God’s perspective on your identity. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is found in Christ alone. If these scars or marks are a source of deep insecurity, we pray that God would heal not just your skin, but your heart, filling you with His love and acceptance.

Lord, we also ask that You guard ###’s heart against despair or impatience. Healing, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, often requires time and trust. Help them to wait on You with hope, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). If medical intervention or further care is part of Your plan, guide them to wise counsel and discernment.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, shame, or self-rejection that may be attached to this struggle. We declare that in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and no mark or imperfection can diminish the beauty of who you are in Him. May you walk in the confidence of God’s love, knowing that He delights in you (Zephaniah 3:17).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Whether He chooses to heal instantly or work through other means, we trust in His perfect love and timing. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and may His peace guard your heart and mind in this journey.

We hear how urgently you are asking for healing for your face, and how much you long for every mark, scar, dent and dark circle to be gone. It is understandable to want to look in the mirror and feel at peace, and we are bringing this burden to the Lord with you.

When our attention gets fixed on every detail we see as a flaw, it can quickly feel overwhelming and make it hard to think about anything else. Many people know that kind of distress about appearance, and it can wear on confidence and daily life. Please know we see you as a whole person, valued and loved by God, even while this concern feels so large right now. Your worth before Him is not measured by skin texture or tone.

While we keep praying for healing and for comfort in the waiting, if these concerns continue to weigh on you it may be helpful to let a trusted medical professional evaluate your skin alongside prayer, so you have clear information and caring support in person. It can also help to share how you are feeling with someone you trust, so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your merciful touch on this face and skin according to Your will, for healing and for peace of heart. Give wisdom for any care that is needed and help our friend to know Your nearness, Your love, and Your care each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has reached us and we have brought it before the Lord with deep compassion. We hear how heavily this burden concerning your face and skin lies upon you, how you long to be made new and to be free from every mark and scar and trace that troubles you, and we do not lightly pass over such sorrow.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press upon us daily, and it is right to seek the great Physician for healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, which teaches us that the least thing about Christ is healing. Even His common mercies and His lower blessings of Divine Grace are full of virtue to restore and to renew. The power which dwelt in Christ to heal while He sojourned here has lost none of its efficacy, for the costly balm of His atonement still flows. None shall say unto the healing flood of His love, up to here can you go and no further, for the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.

Yet we would lovingly remind you that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The first and deepest healing we need is that of the soul, to be washed from sin and reconciled to God through faith in Christ alone, for without faith in Him we are in debt to Divine Justice and cannot meet one in a million of the claims against us. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon us with healing in His wings, we find our spirits revive and we gather our share of Divine gifts. Therefore we urge you to seek first that your heart be whole before God, trusting in the Lord Jesus who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and then to bring your bodily infirmity to Him in humble submission.

We also entreat you to cast your anxiety upon Him, for we have found by experience and observation that anxiety has never comforted anybody nor brought any grist to the mill. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. If your anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of it. But there is a way of making the cares of common life subservient to the purposes of Divine Grace, and that is to tell the Lord of them in believing prayer and leave them in His hands. Faith must be obedient and must accept what God reveals as true, for unbelief restrains the hand of God and keeps back the blessing.

There is no attribute more comforting to the children of God than Divine Sovereignty. We must trace the hand of God in everything and admire His wisdom, knowing that He does all things well and that He cares even for the little things, the trifles of His people. What He withholds and what He grants both flow from love. Yonder in Heaven those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves, and whether He heals us now in this life or perfects us in the life to come, His love does not fail.

Let us pray for you. O Lord our God, Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look with compassion upon this afflicted one who cries to Thee concerning the body. Thou knowest every mark and every sorrow, every anxious thought by night and by day. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ to lay Thy pardoning and healing hand upon this dear soul. Forgive sin through the blood of Thy Son, speak peace to the conscience, and quiet the restless spirit. If it be Thy sovereign and gracious will, touch the body and restore the skin and grant relief according to Thy mercy. If Thou seest fit to withhold present healing, grant grace to bear this trial with patience, to trust Thy goodness, and to find contentment in Thy will. Let the power of the Lord be present to heal the whole person, soul and body, and make new by Thy Spirit. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus is worthy, and His leaves are for healing. Amen.

I have read your urgent prayer and I hear how much distress you are carrying about your face and skin. God sees you and hears you when you call on Him in the name of Jesus Christ, and He knows every mark and pain that troubles your heart. I am praying for you now.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on this soul who cries out to You. You formed our bodies and You know our every need. I ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this face and skin, upon the area under the eyes and every place that causes sorrow. If it be Your will, bring healing and restoration, soothe what is inflamed, soften what is scarred, and grant relief according to Your wisdom and love. Above all, grant peace, comfort, and assurance that You are near, that You hear, and that Your grace is sufficient. Grant patience and hope while waiting on You, and let Your will be done in this body and in this life. In Your holy name I pray, amen.

I want to encourage you gently while we pray for healing. The Scriptures teach us that our deepest beauty and worth are not found only in outward appearance, which is fragile and changes with time, sickness and age, but in the heart that is being renewed by Christ. That inner beauty, made of faith, love, purity and kindness, never fades and is precious in the sight of God. This does not mean God does not care about your body, He does, for He made you and He cares for every part of you, but He most desires to heal and adorn your soul first, so that whether He grants the outward healing you long for quickly or over time or in another way, you may have peace within.

Do not let anxiety consume you. God desires to free His children from constant fear and restless worry and to establish us in trust. Keep bringing your request to Him honestly and repeatedly, as you have done, and trust His goodness. Continue to seek Him in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with faithful believers. Turn away from any false remedies or superstitions and look to Christ alone, using the simple means He has given, prayer, the sign of our faith in Him, and wise care for the body, while leaving the outcome in His hands.

Know that you are heard and you are not alone. I will continue to pray that God will grant you healing as He wills, that He will lift the burden of distress from your heart, and that He will make your heart ever more beautiful with His presence, so that you may reflect His hope to others. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you, and let you know His love more deeply each day in Jesus Christ.

Your urgent and heartfelt cry has been heard and I have prayed for you. I understand how deeply distressing it is to look in the mirror and feel burdened by every mark, scar, hollow and dark circle you see, and how earnestly you long for God to make your skin completely new.

I want you to know that God cares about you fully, body and soul, and that healing belongs to Him. When Jesus walked on earth He healed the sick, cleansed the leper, and showed power over every kind of infirmity and affliction. The Scripture in Isaiah says He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and that truth is applied to His physical healing ministry as well as to His work to forgive sin. His body was broken for us, and we can confidently bring every physical need to Him in prayer.

At the same time there is much about healing that remains a mystery to us. In the life of Jesus we see both instant miraculous healings and one gradual healing, and in our own experience we see the same variety. Some people are healed in a moment, some are healed gradually through a process that is still fully from God, and some who love Jesus deeply and pray sincerely are not healed in the way they had hoped in this life. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and His strength would be shown in weakness. To assume that God must heal every condition instantly in every case is not what Scripture teaches, and it is wrong to tell someone that if healing does not come right away it must be because of sin or lack of faith.

I do believe God still heals today, and I believe He is able to do miracles. I also believe that any true healing, whether it comes in a moment or slowly over time through the natural processes God created, is divine. He also brings healing to the heart and mind, bringing peace and comfort to wounds and scars that go deeper than the skin, and that too is His gracious work.

So I am praying for you in this way, that the Lord in His wisdom and love would touch your face and skin according to His perfect will. If it pleases Him to do a sudden and complete work, we will praise Him. If He chooses to work gradually, we will thank Him for every step of restoration. And in either case we ask Him to fill you with His peace, to guard you from discouragement, and to help you know how deeply you are loved and valued in Christ apart from any outward appearance. Your faith is not measured by the speed of an answer, but by simple trust that God hears, that He is good, and that He will do what is best.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You see every detail of the face and skin that causes such pain, every mark and shadow and trace of past surgery. You know the longing for wholeness. I ask that You would bring Your healing touch, in whatever way You choose, whether miraculous or gradual, and that You would bring healing to the heart as well. Give comfort, hope, and assurance of Your presence today. Let Your will be done and let Your grace be felt in a real way. Amen.

Please keep bringing your needs honestly to the Lord and resting in His care. He hears you, He loves you, and He will walk with you through this.
