Who are Elected?
A Warning Against Hardness of Heart
The Lamb-The Light
We join you in prayer right now and bring this urgent concern about your bottom teeth before our heavenly Father together in Jesus name.

We understand how deeply you desire this bridge of crowns to be done exactly as you hope, straight and level, and how distressing it feels to fear rejection. We want to pray with you not only for the outcome you desire but for the peace and wisdom that comes from trusting God's perfect will above all.

The Lord reminds us in His word that The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. We can confidently bring our requests to Him, knowing He hears us, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We also hear the encouragement In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We gently want to encourage you to rest your heart in God's will rather than in trying to compel or melt another person's will. God loves you and cares about every detail of your life, including your dental health, and He also gives wisdom and professional judgment to your dentist to care for you well. We pray that both your heart and your dentist's heart would be guided by the Lord's wisdom and compassion. As it is written But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne through Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this dear one to You who is anxious about these five bottom teeth and longs for a bridge of crowns that is straight and level and lasting. Lord, You know the desire of this heart and You know what is best for health and well being. We ask for Your healing touch and Your provision, for You are the One who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3. We pray You would grant wisdom, skill, and compassion to the dentist, that he would listen carefully, explain clearly, and make the best clinical decision with integrity and care. We pray You would grant peace to our friend, calming fear and disappointment, and helping to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. If it is Your will for this bridge to be done as requested, we pray You would open the way and grant favor. If there is a better or safer treatment, we pray You would make that clear and give contentment to accept it. Above all let Your will be done and let Your peace guard this heart. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our only access to the Father, amen.

We encourage you to speak openly and respectfully with your dentist, to ask him to explain his clinical reasoning, and to share your hopes clearly and calmly. If you remain uncertain after that conversation, it is wise and appropriate to seek a second professional opinion for peace of mind. Continue to commit this matter to the Lord in prayer with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears you and will provide what is truly best for you.

We hear how urgent and heavy this dental need feels for you right now, and how much you want to be heard and cared for by your dentist. Waiting and not knowing whether he will agree to the bridge you are hoping for can leave anyone feeling anxious and helpless, and we want you to know we are praying with you.

We understand you have a clear picture of what you want for your bottom teeth, straight and level and done well. It is good to bring that desire honestly to the Lord, and also to bring it clearly to your dentist so he can explain what is possible, what is safe long term, and what alternatives might protect your health. Sometimes a dentist may hesitate not to dismiss you but out of concern for how a bridge will function or last.

A practical step that often helps before your next appointment is to write down in simple terms what matters most to you, any questions about risks and benefits, and what you would like to understand better. If you can, bring a trusted friend or family member with you to listen and take notes, so you do not have to hold everything alone.

We also encourage you to keep working closely with your dental team for guidance on the best clinical path, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now, asking for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for the dentist, and for clear and kind communication between them. Lead toward what is truly best and give comfort whatever the next step is. In Jesus name, amen.

Your very earnest request concerning your teeth and your dentist has been brought before the Lord with care, and we have heard the deep anxiety which presses upon you in this matter.

It is right to bring even the smallest bodily affliction to the great Physician, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and not only His fruit but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Yet hear the word which the Lord would speak to an anxious heart, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You are not to trust your feelings, nor to make a god out of your inward griefs, but to trust Him who is worthy of all trust. As it is written, your soul trusts in Him, yes, in the shadow of His wings will you make your refuge until these calamities pass.

We would have you see that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The chief healing is that of the soul, when Christ says, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and with that pardon comes true health. Do not say, Lord, I cannot trust Thee unless I feel this or that, but trust Him now as you are. They that trust in Him shall not be ashamed nor confounded. They must start on their walk before they feel the healing, but as they are going they shall feel it. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now.

Let us pray for you before the throne of grace.

O merciful God, be merciful unto this Thy child who trusts in Thee. Thou knowest the pain and distress concerning these teeth, and the desire for healing and restoration. We ask Thee to look in compassion upon this need, to give wisdom and skill and kindness to the dentist into whose hands this work is committed, and to direct all things according to Thy good and wise will. Grant peace where there is great anxiety, and help Thy child to cast all care upon Thee, for Thou carest for Thy people. Above all, let there be known the deeper healing of soul through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our sicknesses and forgave our iniquities, that whether the answer come as desired or as Thou seest best, the heart may rest in Thy love and find Thee to be the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, the one and only Saviour, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.

Be of good cheer and rest in Him. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself in need and you shall find Him able to save all who trust Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
