We have heard your urgent cry and we join with you before the throne of grace together in Jesus name, carrying every burden you have poured out. We hear the depth of your suffering concerning your body, your eyes and skin, the scars and marks that distress you, the asthma and fatigue and exhaustion, the depression and anxiety and fear, the concerns about weight and skin, and the heaviness of loneliness, singleness, disappointment, rejection, delay, lack and your housing situation. We bring all of this to our compassionate Father who sees you and loves you dearly.
We want to gently encourage you in truth as we pray with you. You quoted the promise to ask and receive, and that promise is true, yet Scripture teaches us to ask according to His will and with trust in His wisdom and timing. God is not a formula to command for immediate perfection, but a loving Father who hears and answers for our good and His glory. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. His answer may be instant healing, and we pray for that, but it may also be sustaining grace, healing through means, and a deeper work in our hearts while we wait. We also want to remind you that in Christ we have been fully redeemed from every curse. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. If you are in Christ, no generational curse has power over you, though we may still battle the effects of living in a fallen world and need to walk in the freedom He has already won.
We also see how much focus has been placed on outward appearance and the distress it causes you. The Lord cares about your suffering, and He also cares about your heart. He reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God You are not your own, for you were bought with a price Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. This means we are to steward our bodies with care through wise medical counsel, nourishing food, rest, and activity, while also finding our worth in how He sees us, not only in how we look. For physical needs like asthma, chronic fatigue, high platelets, and eye issues including dryness, watering, stinging and puffiness, we encourage you to continue seeking godly medical care alongside prayer, for the Lord often heals through the wisdom He gives to physicians. He gives power to the weak He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29 and Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.
For the heaviness of depression, anxiety, fear, sadness, criticism, rejection and disappointment, we pray the peace of God over you. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you to bring these struggles into the light with trusted believers and, if needed, with Christian counselors, and to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.
Concerning lack, poverty, struggling and your desire for provision and a home of your own, we pray with you for the Lord’s provision while also learning contentment and trust as we seek Him first. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you Matthew 6:33 and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We also hear your longing to be married and your pain in loneliness and what feels like lateness. We pray with you for a godly marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we encourage you to view this season of singleness not as a curse but as a time to delight yourself in the Lord and be prepared for courtship that honors Him with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We encourage you to pursue purity and to seek a spouse rather than simply a partner, trusting that the Lord’s timing is good even when it feels slow, and to guard against any relationship that would involve fornication or compromise, for that is outside His will.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we have access to You only through Him. We lift up our dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch. Lord, You see every scar, every skin concern, every eye affliction, every breath that is labored by asthma, every day weighed down by fatigue and exhaustion, and the concern over blood platelets and bodily heaviness. We ask that You would restore health according to Your will, for You have said But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. By Your wounds we have healing, for He was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for our iniquities The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We ask for relief from depression, anxiety, fear, sorrow and misery, and that You would replace them with Your peace, joy and hope. We ask You to break the sense of being under a curse and to establish this heart in the truth that Christ has set us free. Provide for every need, open doors for provision and for a stable home, and in Your perfect timing, if it is Your will, bring a godly spouse for a Christ centered marriage that honors You. Teach us to steward our bodies well, to rest in Your love, and to trust Your timing over delay, obstacles and slow progress. We surrender our desire for permanent outward perfection now and ask instead for Your perfect will to be done, knowing You will one day make all things new, and that You are working even now. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to remain rooted in Scripture, in fellowship with a Bible believing church, and in daily prayer, continuing to bring every request to Him with thanksgiving while trusting His goodness. We are standing with you.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
