We join with you in prayer together before our Heavenly Father and we hear the urgency and distress in your heart concerning your face and skin, and we bring your whole body and your spirit before the Lord who made you.
We thank you that you have asked in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rejoice that you are calling upon that name.
We want to gently and lovingly speak truth to you as we pray, because we care for you. God does indeed invite us to ask and to receive, but His Word also teaches us that our asking must be according to His will and in submission to His perfect wisdom and timing. 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The Lord is not slow or reluctant to love you, but He works all things for our good and His glory, Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Sometimes His answer is immediate healing, sometimes it is healing through means and time, and sometimes it is grace to endure while He refines our hearts to trust Him more deeply.
We also want to encourage you to see yourself as God sees you. Your worth and beauty are not measured by flawless skin alone. 1 Samuel 16:7 says For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. And Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. And 1 Peter 3:3-4 says Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. God cares about your suffering and your skin, but He cares even more about your heart finding peace and assurance in His love, knowing you are already precious and wonderfully made in His eyes. An obsession with every mark or blemish can steal the peace He wants to give you, so we pray for freedom from anxiety as much as for healing of skin.
We do believe our God is able to heal and to restore, for He is the Lord who heals us. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and dont forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask Him in faith, while also trusting His sovereign will and His timing, which is perfect.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know every detail of this body that You formed, every cell of the face, the skin around the eyes, the cheeks, above the ear, the neck and the whole body. You see the marks, scars, dents, dark circles, pigmentation, lines, spots, veins, dryness and sensitivity and every allergy and concern both mentioned and unmentioned that weighs so heavily. We ask in Jesus name for Your merciful touch. If it be Your will, we ask You to bring healing and restoration, to calm inflammation, to restore skin to health and strength, to ease discomfort and to bring wholeness. We ask for Your healing power to work, whether by Your direct touch or through wise care and treatment You provide. Above all we ask for Your peace to guard this heart, to remove fear and urgency and to replace it with trust in Your goodness. Help this dear one to know deep in their soul that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by You, and that their true radiance comes from Christ dwelling within. Teach us all to seek first Your Kingdom, Matthew 6:33 says But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, and to wait with patient hope for Your answer. We ask for contentment and joy that does not depend on outward perfection but on Your unfailing love. Grant wisdom to steward the body well, to seek godly counsel and medical care where appropriate, and to rest in Your perfect timing without feeling forgotten if healing is not instant. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will, and we trust You to do what is best. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring your requests to God daily with thanksgiving, to rest in His love, and to remember that even as we ask for outward healing, God is doing a beautiful work inwardly that will last forever. Wait for Yahweh, Psalm 27:14 says Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. He has not forgotten you and He will not delay beyond what is good for you.
