We hear your urgent cry and we join with you right now bringing your face and your heart before the Lord in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We understand how distressing skin issues, scars, marks and the signs of worry under your eyes can feel, and how urgently you desire to be healed and restored. We want you to know that God sees you, He knows your pain, and He cares deeply for you. He formed you with His own hands and you are precious in His sight. As it is written, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works. My soul knows that very well Psalm 139:14.

We also want to gently encourage your heart with truth, for while we pray for physical healing, we know that God measures beauty differently than the world does. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. And we are taught, Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean God does not care about our bodies or our suffering, He does, but He wants us to find our peace and identity first in Him, not in flawless skin.

We rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other name by which we come to the Father. It is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember the promise, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. God is able to heal, and we trust His power and His perfect will for you, whether that healing is immediate and miraculous, through natural restoration over time, or through the peace that lets you walk in confidence as His beloved child.

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one to You who is anxious and hurting and longing for Your touch upon their face. Lord, You know every mark, every scar, every line and hollow that causes distress. We ask in Jesus' name that You would lay Your healing hand upon them. If it be Your will, we ask You to restore the skin, to smooth and renew what has been damaged, and to bring complete healing by Your power, for nothing is impossible for You. We also pray for deep inner healing, take away the urgency and fear and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made, loved and cherished. Guard their heart from despair and from placing their worth in outward appearance alone. Let them rest in Your love and know that their value is secure in Christ. Give them patience and trust as they wait on You, and guide them to wise and godly care for their body as Your temple. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to rest in His unfailing love. Keep praying and thanking Him, even as you wait, trusting that He hears you and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.

We hear how urgently you have been crying out about your face and how heavy this has felt. When you see marks, scars, pits, dark circles and lines every day, it makes sense you would long for them to be gone right now. It is a lot to carry when it affects how you feel about yourself each morning.

We want you to know we are praying for you and we will keep bringing you before the Lord. We are asking Him to draw near to you in this distress, to give you peace as you wait on Him, and to give you wisdom for each next step.

Alongside prayer, if you have not already, we gently encourage you to share what is troubling you most with a trusted doctor or dermatologist who can see you in person. They can listen carefully, examine your skin, and help you understand what may be helpful and what care is appropriate. You do not have to sort through this alone, and having a caring professional alongside prayer can bring more clarity and support.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the burden they are carrying and how much they long for healing and relief. Please surround them with Your nearness and comfort, remind them they are seen and loved by You, and guide them to wise and gentle care. Give rest to their heart as they trust You day by day. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your urgent cry has been brought before us and we have carried it before the throne of grace, where our Lord Jesus Christ sits as the great Physician.

We hear in your words a deep distress about your face and the marks and lines that trouble you, and with it a great anxiety which presses heavily upon your spirit. Our Savior says, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and bring your need to God, but do not let anxiety itself become a heavier burden than the affliction. I have found, and many others have found, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, and anxiety has never yet brought comfort nor any good thing into the hand. Cast therefore your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Know this, that there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The Lord has begun to heal His people and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies in His own time and way. While we very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, we must first of all seek the healing of the soul, which is the greater mercy. If we grow tired of the story of the cross it is a sad indication of soul sickness, and we must hasten to the great Physician for healing there.

We do pray for you now.

O Lord our God, look upon this anxious one who pleads for healing. Thou knowest the body and every mark and infirmity that causes sorrow. Thou art able to heal, and we ask that if it be Thy gracious will Thou wouldst lay Thy healing hand upon this dear one and grant relief and restoration according to Thy wisdom and power. Above all, grant the deeper healing of pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ, that being forgiven and cleansed within, there may be peace of heart and rest from fretting care. Let the virtue that is in Christ, even in the hem of His garment, touch this needy soul and make whole. Help this one to trust Thee day by day, to seek Thee in Thy Word where faith comes by hearing, and to wait upon Thy good pleasure, knowing that Thou doest all things well. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is salvation, we ask it. Amen.

Be not cast down. Seek the Lord Himself more than the mere removal of the trouble, for when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick. Rest in His love, continue in prayer without fretting, and leave your face and your life in His tender hands, who will in the end present His own without spot or wrinkle.
