We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for you, dear sister or brother, as we hear the deep cry of your soul for healing, deliverance, and restoration. Your urgency touches us, and we are moved to lift you up in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request, and we gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone holds the keys to true healing, peace, and eternal life. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Your request reveals a heart burdened by many physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles—fears, anxieties, depression, loneliness, and even the longing for marriage. We also hear the deep desire for physical healing, from skin concerns to asthma and beyond. While we lift these needs before the Lord, we must also encourage you to seek His kingdom first, trusting that He knows what is best for you. Jesus tells us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Your worth and identity are not found in outward appearance, marital status, or worldly success, but in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by Him (Psalm 139:14), and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
We must also address the repetition and fixation on physical imperfections, which can become an idol if it consumes your thoughts more than the Lord Himself. The apostle Peter reminds us, *"Don’t let your beauty be just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing gold jewelry, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God"* (1 Peter 3:3-4, WEB). While it is not wrong to desire healing, we pray that your focus would shift to the eternal rather than the temporary, trusting that God’s grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Regarding your longing for marriage, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory. If it is His will for you, He will provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing. Until then, we urge you to use this season of singleness to grow closer to the Lord, serving Him wholeheartedly. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). Do not allow loneliness or societal pressures to rush you into a relationship that does not honor Him. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).
Now, let us pray for you with hearts united in faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for Your healing touch. Lord, You see the depths of their heart—the fears, the anxieties, the depression, and the longing for wholeness. We ask that You would wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression that has taken root, and fill them instead with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, we pray for physical healing—touch every part of their body, from their skin to their lungs, and restore them to full health. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to make all things new. Remove every blemish, every scar, every symptom of asthma, and grant them relief from itching and discomfort. May they experience Your healing hand upon their body, knowing that You care deeply for their every need.
Father, we also lift up their heart’s desire for marriage. If it is Your will, prepare them for a godly spouse who will love and cherish them as Christ loves the church. Give them patience to wait on Your timing, and fill them with contentment in this season of singleness. Remove any stagnation or delay that is not of You, and open doors that no man can shut. Let them trust in Your promise that *"no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly"* (Psalm 84:11).
We rebuke every spirit of loneliness, rejection, and disappointment that has sought to steal their peace. Fill them with the knowledge of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let them find their identity in You alone, knowing they are chosen, loved, and cherished by the King of kings.
Lord, we also pray for their financial needs—provide for them abundantly, that they may lack no good thing. Break every curse of poverty and misfortune, and release Your blessings upon their life. Teach them to trust in You as their Provider, for You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10).
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to Yourself. Let them seek You first above all else, and may their life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good.
