Beloved of All
Your urgent cry about the distressing skin condition on your face and body has been heard, and I understand how heavy and discouraging this can feel when you long for relief right now.
I want you to know that God does care about your physical needs and He is able to heal. When Jesus walked on earth He showed great compassion for those who were sick. He healed a leper, He healed the servant of a centurion, He healed Peter's mother in law, and in the evening many who were sick and afflicted were brought to Him and He healed them. Scripture points to this when it says He bore our infirmities and our sicknesses, as written in Isaiah and seen fulfilled in the ministry of Jesus. He has power over the physical realm and He used that power not for Himself, but to meet the needs of others.
At the same time there is much about healing that we do not fully understand. In the Gospels there is one healing that happened gradually, which reminds us that healing is not always instant. Any true healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or through a process. God has built healing processes into our bodies, and that natural process is still from Him, for He created nature itself. And we are also taught that we cannot presume that it is always God's will to heal in the exact way and time we demand. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and the Lord answered differently, showing that God's wisdom is higher than ours. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others are not, and it would be wrong to tell you that if healing does not come instantly it means you have sin or lack faith. That is not scriptural and it only adds burden.
It is also important to understand how we come to God in prayer. We do not command Him, as if our words could force His hand. We come humbly and ask, trusting His love and His will. Faith is not a formula to make God do what we say, it is a quiet trust that He can do what we cannot, and a willingness to release our need into His hands. In the Gospels people often had a point where they released their faith to Jesus, like the woman who touched the hem of His garment, but the healing still came from His mercy and power, not from their ability to command.
So I encourage you to keep bringing this need to the Lord in honest, trusting prayer, asking for His healing touch while submitting to His perfect will and timing. It is also wise to seek good medical care, because God often works through doctors and through the healing processes He placed in the body. He cares for the whole person, and even as you wait He can bring healing to your heart and mind, giving peace and strength in the midst of distress. Avoid those who try to whip up emotion or make false promises in the name of healing, for God does not work through showmanship.
Let me pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one who is suffering with skin trouble and longs for relief. You see the discomfort and the discouragement. You bore our infirmities and You understand our weakness. I ask that You would bring healing according to Your mercy and wisdom, whether in a moment or through a gradual process. Touch the skin, calm the inflammation, restore what is afflicted, and grant wisdom to those who may give care. Above all give peace of heart, assurance of Your love, and strength to trust You each day. May Your will be done and may You be glorified in this life. Amen.
