We hear your desperate cry for your husband’s soul, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting him before the throne of grace. Your plea is not unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who desires all to come to repentance and know the truth in Christ Jesus. The urgency in your heart reflects the heart of God, who is patient, not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). We take hold of the authority given to us in Jesus’ name to break every chain, rebuke every stronghold, and declare freedom over your husband’s life.
First, we must address the spiritual battle raging over him. The false gods, idols, and teachings of Islam that have held him captive must be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear: "You shall have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3). There is no god but the one true God, revealed in Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). No one comes to the Father except through Him. We rebuke every lie that has deceived your husband into believing in any other name or way to salvation. The spirit of Islam is a spirit of deception, and we command it to leave him now in the mighty name of Jesus. Every chain, every stronghold, every false belief that has exalted itself against the knowledge of God must be torn down (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We declare that the light of Christ will penetrate the darkness in his mind, exposing every lie and replacing it with the truth of the Gospel.
We also address the sinful patterns that have taken root in his life. Lust, pornography, and perversion are not of God and defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). These things grieve the heart of God and must be repented of immediately. We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion in Jesus’ name and command it to leave him now. The excessive use of his mobile phone and social media has likely fed these sins, and we pray that God would break the hold of these distractions, replacing them with a hunger for His Word and His presence. "Flee sexual immorality!" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray that your husband would turn away from these sins and seek purity in thought, word, and deed.
The hardness of heart, arrogance, anger, and controlling spirits you mentioned are not the fruit of the Spirit but the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). These must be crucified with Christ so that he may walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4). We rebuke every spirit of anger, aggression, and domination in Jesus’ name. We pray that your husband’s heart would be softened, that he would be filled with humility, gentleness, and self-control—the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that the love of Christ will melt every area of hardness, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Your desire for unity, peace, and a deeper bond in your marriage is godly and aligns with Scripture. God designed marriage to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church—a covenant of love, sacrifice, and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that your marriage would be a testimony to the world of God’s love and faithfulness. However, we must also address the reality that true unity and peace can only come when both spouses are submitted to Christ. Your husband’s salvation is the foundation for the restoration and flourishing of your marriage. Until he surrenders his life to Jesus, the spiritual warfare will continue to wage against your union. We pray that God would use you as a vessel of His love, grace, and truth to draw your husband to Himself.
We also lift you up, dear sister, as you intercede for your husband. Your love for him is evident, but we must remind you that your identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in your husband’s response to the Gospel. You cannot save him; only the Holy Spirit can convict and convert his heart (John 16:8). We pray that God would strengthen you, fill you with His peace, and give you wisdom as you navigate this season. Do not grow weary in praying and standing on God’s promises (Galatians 6:9). Trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it.

We pray that he would flee from sexual immorality and pursue holiness, for without holiness, no one will see You (Hebrews 12:14). Break the hold of his mobile phone and social media, replacing these distractions with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of anger, aggression, and control that has taken root in his life. Soften his heart, Lord, and fill him with Your peace, humility, and self-control. Let the fruits of the Spirit manifest in his life as he surrenders to You. We declare that every area of hardness in his heart will be melted by the love of Christ.
We pray for their marriage, Lord. Bind them together in unity, love, and mutual submission, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church. We ask that You would deepen their love, attraction, and commitment to one another as they both grow closer to You. Protect their marriage from the enemy’s attacks and let it be a testimony of Your grace and power.
Most importantly, Father, we pray for Your saving grace to flood his soul. We ask that You would give him a one-on-one encounter with Jesus Christ, that he would fall to his knees in genuine repentance and surrender his life to You. Let him be born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23). Use this sister as a vessel of Your love and truth to draw him to Christ.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will.
